Garden Girl Gertie

Hey Fluffers :)

It's time for my post over at My Mum's Craft Shop. At this point, I have to say thank heavens for scheduled posts, as I've lost a large segment of this week to the dreaded lurgy. I even went to bed one afternoon and that's pretty unheard of in FayeWorld!

But enough of that. Today, Sweet Cheeks has his end of term Halloween fancy dress party at school. I was quite surprised to hear The Cheeks getting excited about this, as, although he likes a party, he's not one for dressing up. So, while he seemed amicable to the idea, I asked him what he's like to dress up as? A Wizard? A Pumpkin? A Black Cat? No. None of those things. A Carrot he says! Are you sure you want to be a Carrot, and not a Pumpkin? He was sure. I asked on three separate occasions, each time offering the Wizard/ Pumpkin/ Black Cat scenario and every time he said a Carrot. Darn it!

Luckily, when we went to the shop to get some Dress Up Like a Carrot Gear, I came across a Wizard's hat with and orange wig attached. Sweet Cheeks was quite taken with it. Even more so when I told him he looked like a Carrot with a hat on. Result!!
