Oi, Oi!

Things have been a bit mad here this week. Ok, that's a filthy lie. Things have been a bit mad here for several weeks. But the last week has been particularly so. Next week I'm off to teach at the Whimsy Craft Retreat in Florida (No, I'm not nervous. Yet. No, I haven't packed. Yet. No, I'm not panicking. Yet. Ask any of those questions again at any time in the coming three days for a completely different answer.) and I have had several big projects going on in the background. Of course, as is the way with these things, they all needed to be finished at around the same time. Do you ever wish you could cut yourself up into multiple pieces and then dispatch each piece of you to deal with one particular thing? I knew you'd know what I mean.

So, here's the Stamping Bella card I should have shared last Friday. And no, that's not Friday as in the day before last either! And yes, you've seen me do this before! But this technique is perfect for this image and I wanted to show how different it looks with varying amounts of wetness.

There is some debate in our house as to who Thinkingofyouabella looks like as a blonde. I'm with Scarlett Johanssson. Very Understanding Hubby is with Gwneth Paltrow.

Chloe and her Friends

Hiya :)

It might not be apparent immediately, but keep an eye out, as, I'm diggin' the autumn colours at the moment. You'll notice I say autumn colours, rather than autumn. Much as I love autumn, I'm just not ready to say goodbye to summer, and my flip flops yet!

Anyhoo, over at Tiddly Inks it's Anything Goes. Woooohooo. I fancied me a bit of Chloe and her Friends so, I did that.

Shoot For the Moon

Hi Everyone :)

I love the Sentiment Chipboards from Make it Crafty. Not only are the sentiments fab, they also push me to create something a little out of my comfort zone.

In this case, I fancied creating a starry, galaxy style background. Normally, I would use my Airbrush for this, or pick up some Ink from a Craft Mat. But, again, in the spirit of pushing myself to try something different, I thought I would colour the background with my Copics.

I used four colours; B63, B66, B69, B79. I put down a base of B63 and then built up random layers of colour, until I felt happy with what I had. I smeared on some silver ink and added some frantage embossing powder and called it job done.
