I've flipped it around, which you are also welcome to do. In fact you can do what you like, so long as we can recognise the basic elements of the sketch and you tell us what new or old stash you've used. My old stash is, erm, how long do I have to have had it before it's old?! ;)
This challenge is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp, which is a good reason to play along. Pop on over to SnS to see the super doop cards the rest of the girls have created.
Last week, Very Understanding Hubby asked about the cards I needed to make, so I told him about Donna's brilliant new theme over at Cupcake; Things with Tails and my plans for this stamp.
Fish don't have tails, he pipes up, which caused something of a heated debate and a few choice insults thrown on my part! The issue still rages on, although it's only me doing the raging now, so do fish have tails? I mean, what is that thing at the end of it's body if it's not a tail? (If anyone puts fin in the comments, I will come and find you...!)
This picture is not doing my fish any justice. I made him look all scaly and it's not really picked it up. Something else for me to throw my rattle at my Dear Sweet Brother about. Anyway. Over at Cupcake, we're also sponsored by Simon Says Stamp this week, but we're also joined by Little Claire Designs for the month. I hope you have time to take a look at the wonderful cards from The Fab Cupcakes.
I'm going to enter this card at:
Dream Valley - Stamp Something
Designed 2 Delight - Masculine
Scrapbook Sisters - A Man's World
Fussy and Fancy - Card for a Male
The Stamp Man - Boys and Men
Crafting For All Seasons - Fathers Day

hi there sweetie, gorogeus little fisherman there faye and i loev them fishy paper too.now as for fish having tails..i ve been googling.lol
Odd Tails
There are also fish that have tails, but not in the normal way. Seahorses and stingrays are two examples. These fish technically have tails, but they do not function the same way as for other fish. The stingray's tail is actually for self defense or hunting, as movement is primary from its wings, or flaps. Seahorses are also an example of an odd fish that doesn't have a normal tail.
So there ya go :)

your card is adorable, the colouring and DPs are lovely

If a fish doesn't have a tail, why do we call those funny long-at-the-back hems on dresses "fishtail hems"? Also here you can buy a salmon tail if you don't want to buy the whole fish. But all that is irrelevant really, 'cos your card is just fab! Hugs xxx

Morning Fayebear! First of all, I totally agree with your case, however, my hubby would probably disagree with me, too! LOL, 2nd - I've never seen anyone do men/boy cards so fabby!!! I always struggle with those, but you always seem to ROCK EM!!
Too funny! I just asked my husband if fish have tails and he said yes, so it is my official answer! He did not even ask why! LOL! The card is great by the way! A perfect guys card! Love the colors and the buttons too!
Haha! I am going to go with 'no comment' on the whole fin vs. tail issue....Super cute card either way! x

A fishy story indeed, I prefer the chips part myself.
Liz x
PS cool card.
If fish don't have tails, where do fish tail skirts get their name?? They're not called fish fin skirts, as that would just be silly, hence fish must have tails! Love the card though.
Congrats on your Kaboodle Doodles win (sorry double win!) xxx
Well, in my house I have at least one and sometimes three fishermen, so there are lots of TALES about fishing floating around - hmmmmmm. Anyhooo, your card is fab! Thanks for the chuckle!
