Clover Butterfly Wishes

Hey Peeps :)

You can't really see it in the photo, but this image has a Colour Wash of E51 behind it. And this is how it sat on my desk, for well over (and I am not exaggerating) a year, waiting for me to finish it off. Last weekend, I was, what is described in The House of Fluff, as 'On One', and this image, at last, was finished.

Just in time for the new Anything Goes Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps as it happens. Hmm, it's almost as if I planned it! ;)

This cutie, is Polka Dot Pals Maeve. And she's one of those images, that instantly screamed the colours she wanted to be coloured at me. It's so nice when that happens! So, after Maeve stomped her foot and insisted on a green dress with pretty spotty overlay, I went to find some papers to match. Sorted.

I'm pleased this card came together nicely, I am again engrossed in a trashy novel. In fact, while you pop over to check out the latest Anything Goes Challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, I might just read another few paragraphs. Well, ok, maybe a page or two...

With all the excitement over the past few days, I am late telling you about the latest Anything Goes Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! My bad. 

So, you might remember seeing a card not dissimilar to this a few weeks ago, featuring Polka Dot Pals Tenn. I enjoyed making that card so much, I wanted to do another. I've had a hankering to colour Jr Hatter Michelle for a while. It's the hat and glasses. So cute. So, as Tenn was with blue, I though it only fair to put Michelle with some pink. Job done.

Eeeeepers. Why did no one mention it is Thursday today? I have way too much to fit into the two days before the weekend. Two extra days would help so much. I'll take one, if that's the only offer!

Monster Birthday

Hey Peeps :)

This kind of image scares me.  Not because it's fiddly to colour, or has complex details, but, because it needs so many different colours in it! If you know me, you'll see I tend to limit my colour palette, to three, maybe four colours. Any more than that and I am scratching my head in dismay. I don't have a good eye for colour, which, considering that I spend so much time colouring, is hilarious. I can look at a colour and know exactly what shades I need to mix to get an exact likeness. But. Does purple go with red? Umm... ;)
