Morning Fluffers! Go get a cup of tea and a muffin, this is a biggy!
It's not often that a card stresses me out. I get cross, I get disappointed, I give up, but not often stressed. But by the time I had finished this, I had a knot in my tummy that even one of Abi's delish choklit truffles wasn't defusing!
This weeks challenge over at Cupcake is Weddings and has been chosen by Liza, to coincide with the launch of her rather fantastic Wedding Stationery business;

Now I know we’re not really going to sell Wedding Invitations to crafters, but it would be really great if we could give Liza some exposure...
Stationery by Me specialises in beautiful, handmade wedding stationery for your special day.
Each of my collections feature save the date cards, invitations, all of your "on the day" stationery, favours, guest books and thank you cards, and they are all beautifully coordinated and finished to the highest standard.
All of my designs are made with high quality products and they are all individually handmade and are available in a wide range of colours.
I currently have an offer of 20% off all orders placed before the 31st January 2011, so if you or someone you know is getting married, please pop over to Stationery by Me and take a look at my designs. x
So, I'm all set and decide to make a winter wedding card with my LOTV stamp. Where is the LOTV stamp? It's not with my other LOTV stamps. Very Understanding Hubby very helpfully points out I have too much stuff. Choklit one.
Sometimes when I use a stamp, I stamp out multiples and I know the last time I used it I did. Eventually I find an image, but it's on cream card. I 'was' making a white and blue card. Choklit two.
I was going to emboss some snowflakes on the blue paper with a Spellbinders Impressability thingy. This is how I killed my Quickutz Epic Six. (Don't tell Very Understanding Hubby, he thinks it's because the ratchet popped out. Well, I suppose it did, just not on it's own...) Choklit Three.
I quite enjoy colouring my image (on the stoopid cream card) and give it a liberal dose of 'Happy Spray'. My new best friend; Glitter Spray, called Happy Spray because it covers a multitude of colouring sins and makes my colouring look decent and the fumes are faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab! No choklit needed. Here's a close up of Happy Spray:
Lastly, a snowflake, which I need to cut on the now significantly limping Quickutz. Choklit. Now. Don't count it, just eat it.
A few minutes later, Very Understanding Hubby comes into the snug to find (out what all the swearing is about.) me on hands and knees, begging the Epic for just one more snowflake whilst trying to get the die cut through, manually, with brute force. Very Understanding Hubby realises this is not the time for words and takes over, eventually producing me with a snowflake that gets the same kind of reaction as when Sweet Cheeks discovers, well, it's snowed!
Anyway, pop on over to Cupcake and see the gorgeous cards The Cupcakes have made. This week, we're sponsored by The Ribbon Girl and we have Blue Jelly Stampin, Polkadoodles and The Paper Shelter as our monthly sponsors. If that's not a good enough reason to play along, then join in and show me you can do it without getting heartburn! ;)
