Hey Peeps :)
Today I'm sharing a project I did for Making Cards Magazine...
When we're discussing the projects I'm going to do for Sally, if a sentence starts with 'I've just seen', or 'Can you do?', I know I'm in for a Challenge. Woohoo! Bring it. On this occasion, we were discussing the continuing popularity of the No Lines Technique, and we thought it would be interesting to see the same image, coloured both With Lines and Without...
So, here's Peggy With Lines. She pops off the page, and you can clearly see all the details the Artist Added.
And here she is Without Lines. She looks like an illustration from a Children's Storybook. I've had to work harder to show shading and the little details, but I think it's worth it for the finished result.
With all these Peggy's lying around, it's only fair to make something with her...

To me they are both STUNNING! Love your work soooo much!
Hugs, t.
Wow! They are both amazing but it looks so different with the no lines colouring - softer I guess. A beautifully finished image in both examples :-)
Gorgeous card! Love the colours and osiers and your colouring is superb!

Thud. That is my jaw dropping to the floor. Absolutely amazing work. You are a master at this coloring thing. Lines, no lines, doesn't matter. You make the image sing! Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful colouring Faye, both little girlies are lovely but if I had to choose I prefer 'with lines'
hugs JAcee
Simply Paper Card Design
Both equally gorgeous, Faye - I really couldn't choose which one I like best xx
Two gorgeous images, your colouring is brilliant x
Faye, Both of these cards are beautiful, your colour work is breathtaking, I simply can't choose between them - I adore them both... you are a wonderful artist...
Sue...xxx
Very interesting to see. i must admit I much prefer the lines, fab colours
I'm definitely a no lines kinda gal! But I always remember to print out a black line version which I call my sanity saver - as I print my digi's out in very pale grey, the lines disappear the moment you put marker to paper!
Love your work hun <3
I love them both. hugs Muver.
Oh my gosh!! I love her with the no line technique! Just gorgeous.
Both are jaw-droppingly gorgeous! x

I love them both! Sweet image great coloring!
Your awesome colouring skills never cease to amaze. I do think I prefer the one with lines though, just a personal preference as they both rock :) xx
You have coloured both images so beautifully and I definitely couldn't say one was better than the other...they are so different with and without lines and I love them equally :-)
Your CAS card is really pretty and the doodling is so cute :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
They are both brilliant, not sure my attempt at no lines would look as good!
