Hey Peeps :)
Very Understanding Hubby could do with some hugs. Why? Well, I've woken him up twice, in the middle of the night, in the past week. Poor thing! I'm not talking about the Your Snoring Sounds Like A Boeing 747 Is Flying Just Ten Metres Above Our House Nudge. This was proper Wake Up And Get Out Of Bed stuff.
The first time, I wasn't very well and needed some help. I can be forgiven for that. The second night, I woke up, and the noises in the house weren't right. I'm a light sleeper, and I don't sleep well, so, I know what our house 'should' sound like. On this occasion, the noises were wrong and I was convinced someone that shouldn't be, was in the house.
I woke Very Understanding Hubby. Believe me, when I say this was no easy task. If I'm a light sleeper, Very Understanding Hubby is the exact opposite. You could literally drive a Bulldozer into the house, and he would sleep through it, get up the next morning, and accuse me of doing some DIY.
Anyway, after considerable poking, shaking and thumping (quietly, so no one else would hear) Very Understanding Hubby says 'What! I was asleep!' which, is his standard response every time I get in the bed, to be fair. (The five minutes I spend making sure I have enough computers, with Internet Access to get me through the night, tucked under the bed has a lot to answer for!)'There's someone in the house' says I. And then, the genius that is Very Understanding Hubby, says' What do you want me to do about it?'! Derr! Go check, of course. Even though it was dark, I can say with 100% certainty, Very Understanding Hubby rolled his eyes at me.
A few minutes later, Very Understanding Hubby returned, having checked the house, and informed me it was the side of the bath creaking in the breeze. A lot of 'I was asleep then', 'shut the flippin' window' style grumbling followed for the thirty four and a half seconds Very Understanding Hubby stayed awake after his head hit the pillow. What I wouldn't give. Needless to say, I stayed awake a little longer...

The Journey is the Start
A hug from the cutie on your card would definitely brighten your day even if you didn't have a good night's sleep - lol!
Gorgeous colouring and CAS design :-)
Hugs, Kat x
Oh, she is a cutie! I love the floral background paper and the heart buttons! Colored so nicely!
So gorgeous, such a sweet image and stunning colouring.
Your hubby sounds like mine, he can sleep through anything and I, like you, am the opposite!
hugs Sue xx
Fabulous colouring and a super-cute image. I rely on the dog barking to decide whether "odd" noises in the night are worth investigating - my hubby (when he's here) would sleep through an earthquake. xxxx
I love this card thhhhhiiiiiiiiiiissssssss much! So cute!
Gorgeous image and wonderful colouring Faye..so pretty.I sleep very deeply and all night too so I would be useless as a night watchman..I dont hear a thing till morning..

I'm sitting here giggling out loud at your tale... you really do write so well about VUH and yourself! And I'm with you.... my VUOH (we're not married!), manages about 15 seconds after head/pillow meet, before he is snoring away... and I am alongside getting more and more irritated because I can't! And then when VUOH wakes me up in the night as he goes to use the loo (more than once!), he returns to the bed and to the snoring mode immediately, while I don't! GRRR!
OK... enough VU people moaning.. onto your fabbie card.. such gorgeous colouring and paper - I just know she wants to give me a big hug!

What a horrible experience for you. So glad to hear everything was ok.
Great card by the way xxxx
In my household it's hubby who's the light sleeper. I can sleep through anything! Even sitting with no back support!
I love that floral DP you've used, it goes well with the colors of your image too. Sweet CAS card!
