Fill this day with joy

Morning Peeps :)

There's something joyful about finding a sleeping cat on a sunny patch in a flower bed, don't you think? This kitty is from this month's Release at Time for Tea Designs, (I've hidden him in Daffodil Dell from Make it Crafty) there are three others, so, being a cat lover, you can expect to see more.

Someone asked me a few weeks back, if there was anything I couldn't colour. Well, you know my feelings about pleats, but, cat fur has me quaking too. So I was a bit nervous about this little fella!

Sweet Cheeks is quite 'in' to colouring at the moment... We've had a lovely weekend colouring together. He's even used a few of my Copics. I fluffed up my first attempt at this image. I airbrushed the sky, which was ok, but I really naffed up the clouds. So, and this is very rare for me, I tossed the image to the side and started again. Sweet Cheeks saw the discarded image and asked if he could have it. He then sat next to me and copied everything I did. Here they are, side by side...

Copics Used...
Sky; B0000, B41, B91, Ground; E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, Short Grass; YG03, YG63, YG67, Plants; G82, G46, G99, Daffodils; Y00, Y11, Y15, Y38, G24, G29, Toadstools, E43, E44, R24, E19, Cat; R11, R20, R22, YR12, YR14, YR18, E07, E19

Oh missus, I think I am in love with this kitty! So adorable and perfect, I can almost hear the snores. Cracking job with the fur hun, enough to make anyone quake but you have nailed it. And SC's is brilliant too, definitely a talent in the making. Hugs xx

Awww I don't know which is cutest - your cat or SC or SC's cat!!!

My Emily can often be found finishing off what I didn't. Of course, you have to be quick if you go to the loo with a half-finished digi on the desk, I have come back and found it finished off for me!!!

And you are very good to keep him away from the Copics - madam now has my old pencils, Whispers pens and a selection of ProMarkers that I 'wasn't allowed' to sell. She is also eyeing up the Copics as well!!

Loving this little kitty... and wowwwwww you may say you were quaking thinking about the fur... but you've made a perfect job of it! And eeeeeek... letting ANYONE other than yourself use your Copics? I think I'd have to have a tranquiliser dart first! But he's made a fabulous job... ! It obviously runs in the family..
