The boys are doing Man Stuff!

Hey Fluffers :)

A little while ago, Barbara challenged me to colour a scene. Gulp! You see, I'm on a bit of a mission at the moment to try new things, colourwise, and push my boundaries, push myself. Are the results perfect? Nope. Does it matter? Nope. Am I enjoying the challenge? Hell yeah! Bring it! So, anyways, Barbara, who has been really encouraging and supportive, (and Delphine too, who is also my Where Do I Find A Tutorial On, Guru, amongst other things.) has challenged me to colour a scene. I've been working up to it with clouds, tree trunks and such, so, with Sweet Cheeks amusing himself in a dumpey bag of sand the other afternoon, I mooched over to Make it Crafty to get some 'stuff'. Naturally, I got some extra 'stuffs', just in case!

Things have been a bit hectic here this last week, and I felt like sitting and colouring, just for the sake of sitting, and colouring, so, I sent Sweet Cheeks and Very Understanding Hubby outside to do Man Stuff, (aka work on the new patio) and got out the little scene I've printed, ready, for Boys are Doing Man Stuff Occasions. But these little girls were shouting at me, and I got the urge to colour them on kraft, in pencil. So I did! And now the scene is shouting at me! Watch this space...

You rocked this! When I first saw it I didn't think it was on Kraft - that's how much you rocked! LOL Fabulous color and great idea to keep the coloring strokes in the sky horizontal - looks perfect! :D

Faye your colouring is fabulous... I am in awe at people like yourself (and Delphine) and strive to improve so my colouring can get better... but unlike you I am not allowing the time to do this i.e. I am letting lots of other things get in the way of my crafting! To say my craft room is a mess and needs a tidy is a HUGE understatement! Also I bought some coloured pencils a while back and have not touched them (well apart from the bubbles and seaweed on my LMM mermaid card). You put me to shame... MUST TRY HARDER MICHELLE it'll say on my report! Ok, enough of my rant... FAB card! xx
