Polka Dot Families

Morning Peeps :)

Last week, saw a rather FAB new release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps, including six new characters called Polka Dot Pals. Oh. EM. Geeeeee, I am in LOVE with these girls. I think I may have mentioned it at the time, but even if I didn't, you might have guessed, seeing as I've used four of them in a week! I luuuuuuuuurve them, they are so caYoot. And you can add faces if you want, or not. Did I say I love them?!

Anyway, we have a new Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet for you this week... Happy Families. It can be about family, you can include a family image, but there must be at least two characters on your creation. Perfect, if you want to play with some new images...

I decided to have a go at merging some images. Everyone else has been doing this for years, but not me. And when I say merged, I put two images close together, that's about as mergey as I'm gonna get. And in the spirit of trying something new, on the very last thing I had to colour, which was the bag, I decided to 'colour' a plaid pattern. Eeepers, jeepers! I don't know if it was because it was a first attempt, if it was because of the way the fabric would be laying, or if it was because plaid and spots just don't go... whatever! It looked bad. It looked worse than bad. It looked ruined. Lucky I know a Paper Piecing Surgeon!

Merging scares me too
You'd never know there was a colouring disaster in there.
