Snowman Hugs

Morning Peeps :)

Isn't the new sketch from The Sweet Stop fab? I'm going to be using this one a lot, I think. I really love this cute stamp from Wild Rose Studio and I wanted it to be the focal point, no papers, no fuss. Job done?

Another flying post from me today. You know that feeling you get in the back of your nose when you're getting a cold? I've had it for a few days now. I'm hoping if I keep moving fast enough, it won't catch me. A bit like driving to the petrol station really fast when your tank is running really low, because, if you drive faster, you'll get there before the fumes run out! Of course, regular applications of Mulled Wine might be helping. Me. Not the car!

Anyway, check out what the rest of the Sugar Babies have created:

Gorgeous card, Faye. Love the sketch and your take on it. The image is adorable and coloured to perfection! Hope you don't get sick - my mom swears by oil of oregano, but let me tell you - it tastes sooooo incredibly nasty that if I was a horrible little bug in the back of someone's throat, it might make me wish for sweet death :)

Hugs, Dawn

Gorgeous card Faye, and I do agree that sketch is terrific. Mulled wine? Hope you haven't been sneaking into the playground - someone who plays there regularly is a bit of a bad influence :) Hugs Di xx

So sweet! I adore that image and I agree, a fab sketch!

Do not get sick girl! Wanna know my secret? I know you do! Get some raw ginger - peel and chop up in small chunks (you don't need lots, maybe a two inch piece) bring to a boil in some water in a small pot, then let simmer a few minutes. Add honey and a squeeze of lemon. Easy peasy - I can even get my boys to drink this! We make this every time we think we are getting a cold and it often chases it away - well that combined with a good night's sleep! I also take a couple of echinacea. That seems to help too!

Hi Faye, another wonderful card - love the simplicity of the layout, it allows your gorgeously coloured image to shine.

Love the little Bambi's in the previous post as well, dead cute!

Oh and the Pollycraft and the snowman in the ones before (congrats on the new DT as well) - ach, I just love 'em all!!

Hope the lurgy don't get ya - no remedies from me afraid. I just cross fingers and hope, it generally works and if not a couple of Day Nurse pills and I'm away with the fairies again!!!

Sarah

PS - Postie brought me a lovely little envelope the other day, it's magically disappeared tho and I'm told I can't have it until the 25th - bah, humbug!!!

PPS - Glad Sweet Cheeks b'day was good.

Doing my Craig Revel-Horwood impression... "Fab-u-lous dahling!" The colouring on this is beautiful - really beautiful. The little hAnglar card (thank you, sweetie for your kind words) was painted with my Distress pens and water and the edge was done with Antique Linen. Hope you're keeping that cold away. I can recommend the First Response squirty up the nosey stuff when you get that tickly/itchy am-I-going-to-get-a-cold? feeling. And mulled wine is always good for what ails you. And what doesn't. Hugs, Tracey xx
