Textiles

Morning Peeps :)

We have a new Challenge... Textiles (use ribbon, lace, fabric, felt, twine etc)... over at Little Miss Muffet today. I was really excited about this one. You know how you just don't worry about a card sometimes, because you have a brilliant idea, you know what papers you're gonna use, with what image, how you're gonna colour up and what you're gonna put with it? Ha. Yeah, laughed in my face!

I planned to use a star paper behind the bike paper, which pulled in the stars nicely. Except the green trousers came out darker than I wanted, so they didn't go with the paper. And as the pesky trousers were the last thing I coloured, I didn't want to start again. Humph! Much rustling and rummaging of papers ensued. Then, try as I might, I couldn't get the suede stars I'd cut to work on this layout. Change the layout? Hell no! Everything was cut and I was still sulking about the paper. Signature string to the rescue? Yep. Talk about getting tied in knots. If you'll pardon the pun...

As Barbara will be heading out of town for several days. There's a special offer on over at the Little Miss Muffet Store:

1. Digi orders will be slightly delayed, so all digi orders will receive a new, unrevealed, winter themed digi image

2. Rubber and Diecut orders will be shipped out on 27th November, and will receive a free sentiment stamp. Choose from Royal Decree or Sugar & Spice Sentiment. Please e-mail Barbara with your choice of free stamp at the time of ordering

This offer applies to any order placed between 15 and 26 November, Central Time

Brilliant colouring and a fab image again Faye. Why is it that cards in our head rarely appear that way on paper? You got there in the end and created a beauty tho, Jx

Hey! I'm with you with the 'colouring again' sometimes we have to make do, but your colouring is fab, legs included! and the bicycle paper just brings it out, so maybe it was meant to be?! Plus you do the boy theme so well. keeleyxx
