Beep, Beep, BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

Morning Muffins!

I made this card a little earlier this week and when I'd finished, I felt a little disappointed with it. It's one of those cards that seem to get lost in translation somewhere between my Fluffie Brain and Planet Earth. It's a grower though. I've got happier each time I've looked at it, as the week has progressed.

I'm buried under Wedding Invites at the moment and have been busy in The Bat Cave most nights all week. I've still got a pesky cough too, so, as I can't go for more than a few minutes without erupting into a violent spluttering frenzy, I've been popping medicated cough sweets like jelly beans. Of course, I didn't take into consideration the bit on the label that says 'will not make you drowsy' and 'do not take more than four in a twenty four hour period'. So, two and a half hours after going to bed, I'm generally still buzzing. This makes for a fairly ratty Fluffie the next day...

Whilst out and about in the car with Sweet Cheeks the other day we got dangerously cut up by another car. Well, it's fair to say, I let the other car know we were there. Sweet Cheeks piped up and said 'You should always ask cars to move out of the way nicely Mummy'!

Saturday morning means time for a new Challenge over at Sketch Saturday. We have stash up for grabs from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Pop on over for all the details and have a peeky at the wonderful cards The Saturdays have made. Fancy being a Saturday Girl? Or Guy? We're currently running a DT Call, go take a look!

We are always always our own worst critic!! But lemme tell you - there is nothing short of wonderful on this card - the flowers, the blocked letters, the heart embossing and the pops of colors against the neutral bg is brilliant sweetie!! I sincerely hope that you start to feel better - sending you lots of virtual chicken soup and big hugs!!

Hey there Fluffy friend! I'm sooooo sorry I have been neglectful in my visits!!!! I wanted to have time to spend reading as well as viewing and of course admiring so I kept thinking I would come back when I have more time but I never seem to have it. This make is a delightful one to see first. It took me a while to work out the techical derivation of the word "Urso" but I got there in the end. (I'm the world's worst texter). I suspect I shall, after all be whizzing through all of the posts I have missed but don't let that lull you into thinking I'm not enjoying EVERY SINGLE ONE! Giant fluffy greetings and all best wishes for a grand and crafty 2012! Hugs, Lesley

Hi Faye, great card. Love the flowers they are such a ping of colour against the neutrals. Sweet image too.

Sorry to hear you got cut up - but mind them other drivers. My sister got followed home by a manic driver who thought she had cut him up - he chased her the wrong way round a roundabout and down a dual carriage way before she lost him. Scary!

Hope the cough doesn't hang around too much longer.

Sarah

Wot, you mean those flowers are actually growing!!!!!
We used to play a game in the car with the number plates of the cars that passed by. You and little bruv had to make a word up from the 3 letters by adding or inserting one letter. so B A N could be band for example or bean. See I knew learning 4 letter words would come in useful for the next post.
Think ahead is wot I say!!!!!
