Monica Moment Competition

By now, you will know about my Obsessive Tendencies! ;)

For a long time, my 30 litre ribbon tub has been annoying me. Yes, all the ribbons are in the same place, but they get tangled up and it takes ages to rummage around and find what I want, plus, due to my Fluffie nature, I can't really remember what's in there.

What to do? What to do? I've seen various gadgets, but none of them have appealed to me. With the arrival of some rather pretty new stash from Sew Sweet, (Totally legitimate, so cleared Baggage Control due to the DT nature of the shipment!) I decided I wanted all my ribbon to look gorgeous, be easy for me to see and find and the storage solution needed to satisfy Monica.

Wanna know what I did? Glass jars. Oh yeah baby! I have a glass jar for each colour and two special jars for my Sew Sweet Stash. The ribbons are all rolled up and they look faberoony. When we've moved again and I'm in The Craft Room Proper, all the jars are going onto a floating shelf. I'm telling you, my inner self has rolled over and wants her tummy tickled, she loves the jars so much!

So, would you like to win some Sew Sweet Stash for yourself? Yep, thought so. For a chance to win a little £5 Gift Voucher to spend in the delish Sew Sweet Shop, here's what you need to do:

Leave a comment on this post telling me how many different pieces of ribbon are in the jar pictured above

Become a follower, if you're not already

Post the jar picture in your sidebar

I'll randomly draw a winner from all the correct answers next Tuesday at 12 Noon...

Hi Monica,
I think there are 37 different pieces of ribbon in your jar and I will tell what kept my Monica from exploding :) I have rolled the ribbons like you have but I have also taken a little piece of paper that I wrap around each ribbon and than tape it, I don't know if you see the idea, but that way, they stay rolled up and when I receive some from a blogging friend I mention their name on the paper so can I mention the friend in my post when I make a card with their ribbon :)
A little difficult to explain in English for me, hope it's clear :)
Hugs
Margo

Because we are friends I am disinclined to break this to you, Fluff but I also think that only a friend would be able to tell you what you need to know and hopefully you will understand that the only reason I am telling you is because I find you adorably fluffy but here goes...
Thes ribbons are not the same colour!
Have fun with your competition!
Hugs,
Lesley

Wowzie! This looks great! I've tried it once with vases, but it got messy while using the ribbons.. maybe I've put too many ribbons in it, cause this seems to work! My guess would be 29.
Do you happen to have a pic with all of your jars? :)
Hugs Alie

Since I don't have a clue, I have just counted the buttons in front of the jar (maybe you put the answer there:-)?), there are 20... but 20 is taken (see above), so is 21, so I think there are 22 (not 19, it is odd...)! Can you see how my mind works? Complicated... BIG hugs! Delphine xx

Hmm well I say 26, no logical reason for that at all it was just the first number that popped in my little head. Watch them floating shelves though they are not meant to hold too much weight...trust me I know! xx

Hmmm... I say there are over 50 different pieces of ribbon in the jar. How I wish I had such a jar. Buttons are so cute!
