Get Splattered!

Morning Fluffers!

Wasn't the sunshine yesterday lovely? Sweet Cheeks and I spent a good portion of the day in the paddling pool with ice cream lollies! (Not blue ones!)

So time for another Cupcake Peeps, and Louise has chosen a brilliant theme; Cooking Up a Storm. This means anything cooking related; cakes, chefs, barbeque's, whatever you fancy. Of course you don't have to ask me to do something/ anything with a cake twice! ;)

We are joined by a fab new sponsor this week, Baby Bud Designs and this is the last week you can enter to be in with a chance to win the lovely stash from Little Claire Designs. Don't forget to take a peek at the super doop cards from the rest of The Cupcakes.

I was determined I wasn't going to put any spots on this card, so went for my second favourite, (well today anyway!) gingham. And seeing there's a little Cheflette on it, I just had to paper piece the trousers too. I also wanted to make the card look like it had been splattered with, well, being in a kitchen. I could really have used a browner splat spray, but I don't have any (that's a green for Baggage Control) so had to make do with dirty gold. I got this gorgeous velvet ric rac (that's a red at Baggage Control) the other week and have been itching to use it. I love it, expect to see more of it! I have it in pink too, but sssh, that's a red at Baggage Control...!! ;)

Recipe
Cardstock: Stampin Up!
Papers: Pink Petticoat, Be Mine; Echo Park
Image: Hanglar
Sentiment: Lili of the Valley
Colouring: Copics
Splattering: Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls Mist
Tools: Doily Die; Marianne Design Creatables
Other: Paper Clip; Tim Holtz, Velvet Ric Rac; Sew Sweet
