Who needs a holiday?!

Morning Custard Lovers!

It's my second week Guest Designing over at CES, and this week, (lovely) Julie has chosen Holidays. This had me a little perplexed. By now, you'll probably know my feelings on making Christmas cards on any day other than Christmas Eve. What to do? What to do? I started thinking about summer holidays and immediately thought of this stamp, which made me think of a good friend of mine. So I made this card for her, as I know she loves this set. Anyway, if you'd like a chance to win a £10 Gift Voucher to spend in Crafty Emma's Store, you'll need to play along. You've seen my card, pop on over to see the beauties created by the CES Girls.

Life has a bit of a minxie sense of humour, don't you think? This would explain why, on the the ONLY occasion in my life when I needed to call 999, I was in my PJ's, (ok so they were my pretty ones.) my hair could have done with a wash and there was no make up on (well does the day before's count?)! And just for an extra two fingers at me, the paramedic was CUTE! I'm telling you, life is a minx.

I'm leaving it there for now, not quite ready to talk about it yet, but please don't worry about us, everything is now fine, and we're all ok. :)

Recipe
Cardstock: Stampin Up!
Papers: Picnic Table, October Afternoon
Image: Summer by the Sea, Stampin Up!
Colouring: Polychromos, SU! Inks and Old Faithful - status; behaving
Tools: Spiral Border Punch, Stampin Up!
Other: Charm, raffia and string from stash

OoooOOOOooh, I love this image, and I love how you've coloured her and distressed the whole card, it's AWESOME! bet your friend loved it too.

At least you wore your pretty PJs, and as long as you didn't have panda eyes, I bet he thought you were a foxy momma! ;)

I know you said you're alright, but ... are you OK? Your card is absolutely gorgeous - what a beautiful image, I haven't seen this one before. Know what you mean about life being a minx - every time I talk to the lovely Maths teacher I have a hot flush! And he's leaving at the end of term (can you hear the sound of my heart breaking?) Sending hugs and hoping all is well, Tracey xx

I love your take on the challenge-I'm with you on the Christmas related projects. Loving the distressed look.
Sorry to hear about your 999 episode and if the only casualty was you in your pjs, then that's a good outcome. Hugs xxx

Hi hon, Life is indeed a minx & I hope it is not being too much so for you right now. I left you a comment on your Dad's card post but it disappeared so not sure if you read it but hopefully it will reappear in the next day or 2. Anyway this is a beauty of a card, I adore the colours.
