Even Supermodels look pants with no make up...

Morning All! I hope you all enjoy your Bank Holiday if you have one today. Of course, Monday morning means time for a fab new challenge over at Cupcake and this week, Denise has chosen a rather zesty Colour Combo. We'd like to see you using Green, Orange, White and Yellow. We're delighted to be joined for the first time by Pink Gem Designs and our lovely monthly sponsor, Crafts U Love.

I wasn't worried by this colour combo at all. In fact, I knew which papers I was going to use straightaway. I've been saving them up specially for this card. Ever since I've stuck everything down though, I'm really disappointed with it. I still looooooove the papers, but I think they're getting lost and I should have mounted each separate paper onto green.

I'm happy with the colouring though. I just love the strong vibrant colours you get from Copics.

Well, I think that's enough waffle from me for today. Very Understanding Hubby is off and we may go out for a blue ice lolly. Last time we went to the park, we got Sweet Cheeks a Bubble flavoured lolly. (Not sure what bubble flavour is, but I refused to get lager, even though lager would never have been anywhere near it.) In the picture it was cherry coloured, but when we unwrapped it, it was turquoise. Sweet Cheeks looked like Marilyn Manson when he'd finished it!!

I'm entering this at:

Fab 'n' Funky - Cute and Cuddly

Recipe:
Cardstock: DCWV
Papers: Wild Rose Studio
Image: Pink Gem Designs
Colouring: Copics
Tools: Nesties
Other: Ribbon (vintage!) from stash, Stickles

Talk about gorgeous - I am loving this bear (my fav little animal) with the beautiful daises! Love those buttons - bringing out the color in the center of the flowers! Great color combo, Fluff! How have you been? I hope you are doing well; sorry I've been late getting by; all this other stuff is keeping me mad busy. *sigh* I'll get it together soon. :-) Hugs!

These papers are definitely gorgeous and the bear is definitely a cutie. I don't think the papers are lost - they just go together really well. A lager lolly?!! Would rather have a G&T lolly, or a Pinot Grigio lolly or a pink champagne lolly or ... is the sun over the yardarm yet? Mwah! T xx

Your card is totally adorable, lovely Faye! Your little bear is so cute, beautifully coloured and your fab papers are simply perfect with it! I hope you have had a lovely day... I am having some Haagen Dazs tonight, I thought it would be better to finish that one, before starting the new one with a different flavour:-) I have put some in the bucket:-) BIG hugs Delphine xx

Wow Faye! This is soooo stinkin' cute! :).
I like the paper arrangement...I think it's more soft looking without the backing up :)

And I LOVE COPICS as well! Only your coloring is much better than mine :P.

Hope you have fun with your hubby! (your little story made me miss mine ...sob!sob!).
By the way...I ate some ice cream today as well! Rum flavored with chocolate :) I think I gained 1 kg! :))) hahahaa

Hugs,
Laura

LOVE this card, and those papers are scrummy. The cute image could have been designed with those papers in mind.
Hope you had a great day yesterday if you did go out,
we were soggy and cold while at the zoo :( but the zoo itself was great, we will definately go again when it's dry and warmer.
note to self: don't pre-book tickets because English weather is too unpredictable.

oooh, yay! I think I'm working again! Thanks for the tip. Funny...when I read the title of this post I saw 'no' and 'pants' and found myself staring at the bears groin area!!! Talk about subliminal messages.... Anyways, I think the card turned out beautifully! xxx

More lovely paper piecing and fabulous colourwork. They are such pretty papers but I know what you mean about the double mounting. These days I double mount almost everything and I prefer those cards over some of my older makes. Still gorgeous though, Fluff! Hugs, Lesley
