Back Burner

Morning Fluffers!

Once again, thanks for all your lovely comments and e-mails over the past few days, your support and kindness has been just fab and I really appreciate it. :)

With all that's been going on over the past few weeks and months, there are a couple of projects that I've had to put on the back burner. But I am very proud to tell you that I have joined the Design Teams at Funky Hand and Just Tracys.

Get Funky is a monthly challenge with a new challenge launching on the Funky 15th of each month. Every couple of days, one of the Funkettes posts a brilliant project up to help inspire you, there is a freebie download for you to use if you want to as well as a chance to win some Stash from Funky Hand. You still have a couple of weeks to enter this months 'Show us your Heart' Challenge. Pop over to Get Funky for more details and to see the gorgeous creations the Funkettes have made.

I was also asked to join the Just Tracys Design Team a few weeks ago. Just Tracys is also a monthly challenge, and the very first challenge launched yesterday. I managed to squeeze a card out the night before we moved, but am a bit late posting it up (felt a bit sad yesterday). You have until 25 March (what happened to February?!) to play along with the 'New Beginnings' Challenge. Pop over to Just Tracys and take a look at the wonderful stash you could win if you enter and take a look at the gorgeous projects the DT have created.

Despite the slight rush job with this card, I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I wanted to create a lovely, warm, cozy, rustic, country kitchen feel. And Jo, I hope you're watching, I finally plucked up the courage to hand write a sentiment! Ok, mainly because I couldn't find a stamp to fit, but never mind how I got there!

Right, time to fire up the Sat Nav, I need to find Tescos! Oh and remind me to tell you about Sweet Cheeks and the alarm...

So glad to see you took the hessian sack with you when you moved! This card sooooo reminds me of my sleepy cat, except she's black, we don't have green window-sills, orange curtains, a red flower in a pot or groovy wallpaper. Apart from all that it's just like my house (in that we do actually have a window). Keep smiling chicken!! xxx
