Lost my Car...

Don't panic Folks, I eventually found it again. It goes something like this:

When we lived in Devon, I didn't really wash my car. Our house is in quite a rural area, so I'd wash it and by the time I went anywhere, it would be splattered in mud again.

I've sentimentally not washed my car since we moved to Norfolk as it had a covering of good (red) Devon mud all over it. But the other day, I noticed that there was moss starting to grow on my bumper, so a visit to the nice man at the car wash at the end of the road was called for.

Sweet Cheeks had a great time and was fascinated by the big power squirters. My car had no less than six strapping lads (I must go again in the summer!)rubbing lotions and potions into her. My brakes are now groaning a bit without all the mud to help them work properly though!

Anyway, we've been to the supermarket this afternoon. I walked past my car three times looking for my muddy little number!

While we were at the check out, Sweet Cheeks had a lovely time pushing the shopping down the conveyor belt between me and the Check Out Lady. I winced a bit when I saw the eggs coming at me, but luckliy there were no accidents. When we were all loaded up into the trolley, Sweet Cheeks told me and the Check Out Lady that he was going to pay. I asked him what he was going to pay with. 'With air' was his reply! If only!

Boxes packed: 0.5 (But the fridge sparkles. Bathroom has gone missing though.)
Moving Day in: Approx 12 Days

nice one, I can just see you wandering up and down the lines of cars, you'll have to put a flag on the aerial now until it gets dirty again, lucky you didn't get scrambled eggs whilst you was out shopping

Aww that made me chuckle lol, I've never lost my car as such. But the day after I passed my test I drove my Dad's car into our local town, went shopping and then automatically came home on the bus. Never thought anything more of it until he asked where his car was lol :)!

You are very right about not washing your car, I never have my car cleaned and I can always find it, besides it rains here all the time so it is washed nearly every day, my hubby says that it's not the same, little does he know :)
Good luck on the packing, if you didn't live sooooo far away, I would come and help you ! then by the end of today, your first box would be full :)

Too funny! Life seems to get crazy in the middle of a move! I seem to lock myself out of the house or the car, just because too much is on my mind! This time we can't blame Sweet Cheeks! Wish we could pay for things with air. I think he's on to something!

UK Faye, I do love reading your blog and learning about your packing and your adorable child. I hope the packing goes well. You don't sound very stresses out, so Sweet Cheeks must be keeping you calm. Thanks for visiting and your sweet comments. Don't recall where you are moving to.
