Old Macdonald meets Sketch n Stash

Morning Peeps!

You might want to grab a cuppa, because this is a double whammy post!

If you're observant, you'll have noticed that my usual Monday morning post is three hours late! If you're really observant, you'll have noticed the sneaky new blinkie that has appeared in my sidebar (actually, there are two, but I'm not ready to properly tell you about that yet, as I want to put up some candy with it)! So for the time being, I'm really chuffed to tell you that I've joined the fabby DT over at Sketch n Stash. :)

I may not always combine posts, but last week I was at my house in Devon and I wasn't sure if I would have Internet access, so I scheduled a few posts, and it was just easier to put these two cards together!

This week, at Cupcake, it was my turn to choose the theme and I picked Old Macdonald had a Farm. You can make anything you like, so long as it incorporates something you would find on a farm. Simples. Take a look at the wonderful creations the Cupcakes have made. We are sponsored this time by Crafty Emma's Store and don't forget our monthly sponsors; Blue Jelly Stampin, Polkadoodles and The Paper Shelter.

Over at Sketch n Stash, Vicky has come up with a brilliant sketch for you to play with:

You can flip it round if you like, so long as we can see the basic elements of the sketch, we'll be happy. Don't forget to tell us what stash, new or old that you use.

This is another of the mountain of cards I suddenly needed the other week, made for a friend who just had a little boy. I actually added some text after this picture was taken to the bottom of the frame, but didn't have time to take a new one. I tried to use Happy Spray on the image, but only varnish came out and no glitter. (I think I need to degunk my nozzle.) I was a bit disappointed as it made my colouring go a bit blotchy. Boo! My stash is the frame and Hanglar image and the papers are new.

If you want to be in with a chance of winning images from Kenny K or Meljens Designs, you'll need to play along, so what are you waiting for? You could probably combine two challenges right here...

Fab cards Faye! Old McDonald eh? Perhaps I'll have to pull out the a$$ that Pickle Pants used on yesterday's card and make my own with it, that should qualify as something that hangs out on a farm, lol.
Your Hanglar baby card is adorable! Fab paper and I love how the image looks, has a bit of a vintage feel, love it!
Glad I could provide a laugh yesterday! Chester and Pickle Pants provide and endless supply of laughs - thank goodness for that - motherhood provides us with so many curve balls, we sure need the comic relief!
