Clear as Mud

Morning Peeps. The weekend starts here!

Saturday morning means time for a new challenge over at Sweet Stampin. This week Abi has chosen Clear as Mud, which means we'd like you to use brown plus one other colour. We are sponsored by Bunny Zoe's this week and don't forget we also have a monthly sponsor; Whimsy Stamps.

I had planned to do something with brown and pink, but the stamp I was going to use would have been ok for next weeks challenge at Cupcake and I didn't want to make two similar cards, so a re-think was needed. I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. You can't go wrong with (my beloved) string!

Sweet Cheeks has started dropping his afternoon nap, which is creating a serious dent in my craft time! On Thursday, I decided to test the water with a Sweet Cheeks plays with cars in the Snug while Mummy makes a card scenario.

All in all,it was quite successful. There was only one hissy fit (me) and I made the whole card, apart from the image. I coloured that in the evening when Sweet Cheeks was safely tucked up in bed and dreaming of Lightening McQueen. So I think I might try that again.

I hope you have a lovely weekend, and don't forget to pop over to Sweet Stampin to see the wonderful creations the Sweet Stampers have made!

Fab card Fluff! Am very envious that you can craft while SC plays with cars........just wouldn't happen here. Cars would be glued and coloured and driven over my work.....shudder!
Lovin that hessian (how much left now?) and twine and button and image!
So how many times have you seen Cars now? I have lost count but I could probably understudy for ANY character and I cant get "Love is a high-waaay, I'm gonna ri-ide it all night looooong" Out of my head now you've reminded me. Ta for that!
Have a nice weekend. Will post kit on Monday

Very nice! Makes a great boys card! So hard to do. I like too many pretty girly things, but this is perfect. That mesh is a perfect touch! Like the twine and button too.
