Lines Versus No Lines

Hey Peeps :)

 Today I'm sharing a project I did for Making Cards Magazine...

When we're discussing the projects I'm going to do for Sally, if a sentence starts with 'I've just seen', or 'Can you do?', I know I'm in for a Challenge. Woohoo! Bring it. On this occasion, we were discussing the continuing popularity of the No Lines Technique, and we thought it would be interesting to see the same image, coloured both With Lines and Without...

So, here's Peggy With Lines. She pops off the page, and you can clearly see all the details the Artist Added.

 And here she is Without Lines. She looks like an illustration from a Children's Storybook. I've had to work harder to show shading and the little details, but I think it's worth it for the finished result.

With all these Peggy's lying around, it's only fair to make something with her...

Ahoy me Hearties:)

It's International Talk Like A Pirate Day. I think I've got anything vaguely piratey out of my system! We're joining the fun at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and we've released a couple of Pirate themed images too.

If ever an image did not want to be coloured, this one would be it...

I went out, image partly coloured, and accidentally left the lid off Y23 for a few hours. I was sooooo cross with myself. I've never left a lid off before. Anyway, I must have been a little over zealous with Colourless Blender when resuscitating, poor, dried out, Y23. Then, started colouring, and, 'gloop' out came a massive drop of Y23, all over the parrot.

This was not too much of a disaster, as the parrot wasn't coloured and some Colourless Blender sorted out the rest. But. What happened when I was colouring the parrot, which, I coloured last, had me swearing like a Chef. If you've never heard a Chef swear, trust me, it get's pretty blue!

B26. Dropped. Landed. On. Face. Bounced. Three. Times.

It'll Be All White On The Night

It's time for a new Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps. What's it all about? Good question. It'll Be All White On The Night. Simples. Hey Custard Lovers :)

I'm trying to work out how to tell you I think she's cute and reminds me a little of me in the same sentence, without implying I think I'm cute! Far from it...
