Dexter's Ice Cream

You are gonna wanna head over to Little Miss Muffet today, as we have a pretty mahoosive release, a Friday Freebie and a Sunday Spotlight to catch up with, and Barbara reveals the new look Store. She's been working on it for months and it looks great.

This cutie (and we all know I have a soft spot for penguins, both real and choklit) is Dexter's Ice Cream. I had big plans for him, involving some lush ice cream paper I've been holding onto for such an occasion, and a 'Penguin is, not just for Christmas' message.

But I coloured the ice cream (and hat) to match the ice cream on the paper, and as soon as I'd done that, Dexter didn't look right with the ice cream paper anymore. So, Peeps... Penguins... Not For Ice Cream Paper!

Echo Park... arrrrrrrgh!

We have a fab new Release over at Little Miss Muffet this week... Four Rubber Stamps and eight Pollycraft Digis. I really wanted to play with Chloe and knew exactly what I was going to do and what papers. Everything. Sounds great, right? Wrong!

This was one of those cards that just. Would. Not. Come. Together. In the end, I destroyed three card blanks, kraft cardstock and half a sheet of patterened paper because I kept pulling it apart. It's not the card I had planned, and although the papers are from the paper pad I wanted to use, they're not 'The Ones'. Maybe it's these Echo Park Papers. I really love this pad, but I struggle every time I use them. I'm a bit disappointed with how this turned out... each time I look at it, it feels like I'm looking at something I made a few years ago. Pfffff!

A quickie from me today. Very Understanding Hubby has the week off work, and lovely as it to have him making me cups of tea all day, it's throwing my routine all out. I only just realised what day it is and that I needed to post, well, a post!

What day is it? Release Day over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps of course. We have some smashing new Faeire Images and we loved the last Valentine and Sweet Treat Rubber Stamp Release so much, we decided to play with them all over again too.
