One colour but three posts...

Morning :)

Brace yourselves Peeps, I'm coming atcha with three posts today, here's the first...

You know the drill, early Monday morning means time for a Cupcake. And this week, Lovely Jane has chosen Monochromatic. I thought I'd go with browns for my colour group, seemed appropriate for the bear, but I also wanted to do something I've not done before... I don't think I've ever made an entirely brown card! We're sponsored by Stamp Fairy. I'm a big fan of Stamp Fairy images, I always get into trouble when I visit the shop. Ahem!

Anyway, short and sweet as I'm back in a few...

Bunting

Morning Fluffers :)

Further to yesterdays Disclaimer, stating Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby is a Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby, even when he's (vindictively) not portrayed as a Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby, Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby wants a Lawyer...

Don't worry, we're not getting divorced today. However, I am now required to retract my previous, totally incorrect, Disclaimer about Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby and issue a Statement instead. Therefore, the following Statement now supersedes yesterdays incorrect and wholly untrue Disclaimer, in which Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby comes across as a Dictator. Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby is, at all times, a Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby, particularly when I publish slanderous, vicious untruths about him, implying he is (a Dictator) anything other than a Lovely Supportive Very Understanding Hubby...

The Rebellion Uprising gains momentum Peeps. Just as well I have some pocket money to spend on whatever I want...

In other news, over at Cupcake this morning, Lovely Jane has chosen Bunting this week. What a fab idea. We are introducing over lovely August Guest Cupcakes, Amanda and Ellen and we have stash up for grabs from Saturated Canary and Simon Says Stamp. Life is good Peeps!

Crop-a-Dile Wars

Morning Custard Lovers :)

I'll try and keep this brief, as this is the first of three posts I have going live today!

Jane has chosen a rather fabby new Challenge for you over at Cupcake this week... Something in the Eyelet. Simples really, you just need to include some eyelets on your project. We have stash generously provided by Crafts U Love and Tickled Pink Stamps up for grabs. Pop over and check the luuurverly work from The Cupcakes.

Last year, I bought a Crop-a-Dile. Mainly because I do the majority of my crafting at night time, and I worried about disturbing the neighbours by setting eyelets at one in the morning. Not that Naughty Nursie would have been bothered by me banging at one in the morning. ;) But I digress!

The first time I used it to set an eyelet, on a more or less completed project, things did not go well and I ended up remaking a hefty section of card, without eyelets. My fault, I should have done a dummy run first. The Crop-a-Dile has been an expensive hole punch, ever since.

Jane's Challenge encouraged/ forced me to do battle with the Crop-a-Dile again, and look, I won! Turns out, I just needed to twizzle the thingy round...

I'd like to enter this card at the La La Land Customer Gallery.

I'm hanging around!

Hello again!

More singing I'm afraid, this time the Kylie variety. Oh. No, she spins around...

Anyhoo, if you're looking for my Cupcake post, it's downstairs.

Over at Pollycraft Monday, Jane has challenged us to make Anything but a Card. Oh, how my tummy dropped! I'm rubbish at this type of thing. But, after much head scratching and trying to decide what to do, I thought I'd have a go at a door hanger.

I finished this project a few days ago and as is often the way with me, the door hanger in my hand, didn't look as good as the door hanger in my head! Everytime I looked at it, I just felt a little disappointed.

Yesterday afternoon, Sweet Cheeks and I were making sand castles in the garden when I had a light bulb moment. And I wasn't even at the Jelly Beans! I left The Cheeks to it while I rushed indoors to add a few bits and take a photo before the light went for the day. Sorted. :)

So, if you like to win stash from Funky Farm Scrapbook Barn, you'd best play along! Don't forget to head over to Pollycraft as the girls have made A.Mazing projects to help inspire you.

I would like to enter this project at:
