Summer Fun

Hey Fluffers :)
So, I'm coming at you with a double today... Cupcake and La-La Land Crafts. Let's talk Cupcake first. Delphine has come up with the rather fab Challenge to make a CAS card. But. You're also not allowed to use any flowers. No embellies, not on the paper, not in the image. Simples. Pop on over for all the details and to check out The Cupcakes awesome work.

Over at La-La Land Crafts, we'd like to see some Summer Fun. Summer. Summer. Summer. Oh yes, that season when the sun comes out, it's nice and warm and doesn't rain so much. I remember those! I thought Popsicle Marci would be perfect for this and really fancied doing her in some hot, zingy colours... right out of my comfort zone. Hence the fairly simple design. I didn't want to have to try and find papers to go with these colours. Well, that, and wanting to tie it in with Cupcake! ;) Anyway, don't forget to add your creations to the Customer Gallery for a chance to win some La-La Goodies...

Get your Kraft On!

 Morning Fluffers :)

Alrighty then! Monday morning means time for a Cupcake and this week, Delphine would like us to Get Our Kraft On! Yup, it's all about colouring on Kraft, Peeps. I don't colour on kraft so often, which is bizarre as I love the effect. Especially with pencil... kraft has a lovely tooth to it. Anyhoo, we are delighted to be sponsored by The Ribbon Girl, who have kindly donated a £10 Gift Voucher.

Inspiration Monday over at La-La Land Crafts ties in beautifully, as we'd like to see White, Kraft and One Other Colour. I decided to use pink, as normally I'd go for red. For some reason, despite my love of pink, I find it really hard to use. I just don't have a pink eye! Right, that's all from me, but don't forget to join us in the Customer Gallery for a chance to win some goodies.

 Pencils:
Skin: Light Flesh, Cinnamon, Middle Flesh, Dark Flesh, Rose Carmine
Hair: Bistre, Burnt Siena, Walnut Brown
Whites: White, Ivory, Warm Grey 5 and 6
Pinks: Madder Lake, Fuchsia, Process Red and Koh-i-Nor 14
Grounding: Koh-i-Nor 11 and 23

Witches and Pumpkins

Morning Custard Lovers :)

I'm getting really naff photo's at the moment. I am, at this point, undecided as to whether it's me, the camera, or the light. All three options have rattle out of the pram potential! ;)

So, the weekend saw the end of British Summer Time. Hang on a mintute. The END of British Summer Time?! When was the beginning?!

Monday morning means time for a Cupcake, and this week, Delphine has chosen Witches and Pumpkins. Nice and easy, we'd just like to see a witch, or a pumpkin, or both, on your creation. And we have stash from Prairie Fairy up for grabs. Check out the fabulousness from The Cupcakes, see you there...

Dreams...

Morning Custard Lovers :)

You know what Monday morning means, right? Yup, time for a Cupcake!

After last weeks festivities, it's kinda nice to get back into the normal routine. And we have an absolute corker as Delphine has chosen Black and White. You can use skin tones and hair colours if you need to, but otherwise, it's all about the black and white. I was really happy with this theme because I enjoy colouring images in monotone. But when it came to it, as you can see, I went in a totally different direction. And I had a lot of fun layering up all the stamps/ images with various black inks too. (I have a feeling Mrs A is gonna be holed up in The Flufferie next time she visits, she's already hankering after the Eiffel Tower stamp!)

Anyhoo, we have prizes from two generous sponsors this week, Bunny Zoe's Crafts and Crafts 4 Eternity. Pop over to Cupcake and see the gorgeous work from the girls. Otherwise, I'm back this afternoon with new releases from Some Odd Girl. Laters...

I'd like to enter this card at:

Charisma - Monochrome
Stampin for the Weekend - Monochromatic

Stuff Wot I Used...

Hero Arts Newspaper Eiffel Tower, Penny Black Brush Strokes Dicentra, Die-Namics Vertical Greetings Die and Stamp Set, Tim Holtz Ideaology Film Strip Ribbon; all from My Mum's Craft Shop, with the exception of the Penny Black Stamp

Two Friends...

Morning Fluffers.

Well, it's all about Challenges this morning, and there's a clue in the post title! I hope you all had a fab weekend? Sweet Cheeks and I had a quite one due to the tummy bug I picked up somewhere. I think I'll have a good weigh in at Weightwatchers this week... silver lining and all that. :)

First up is Cupcake. Delphine has chosen Two's Company. We'd like you to use more than one character on your work. It could be boys, girls or a mix of both. Or you could combine two separate stamps, but a person and an animal won't count. I've used Swings and Slides Sweet Love Set by Pollycraft Designs. Aren't they just the cutest couple?

We're sponsored this time by Sassy Studio Designs and our monthly sponsor Crafts U love.

Over at Pollycraft Monday, Joey has chosen Friends and we're sponsored by Quixotic Paperie.

So, that's two fabby Challenges for you to play along with this week! Pop over to Cupcake and Pollycraft Monday to see the totally awesome creations my Teamies have made...
