A Random Fan and CC Designs Blog Hop

Alrighty then :)

Welcome to the A Random Fan and CC Designs Blog Hop. I am super excited about this Blog Hop, because, not only is it my first official post as a CC Designs Team Member, but, I get to play with A Random Fan too. I adore Sherry's cute images... Swoon!

Anyhoo, if you have arrived from fabulous Melissa, you are in the right place. But, if you didn't, or are confused.com, you can start the Blog Hop at A Random Fan.

This sweetie is called Birthday Girl, and you can get her, in rubber, from CC Designs. Just sayin'! Now, if you know me, you will know how I battle to get soft colours... this is borderline pastel for me, so, I'm pretty happy.

Thanks so much for dropping by today. Your next stop is with lovely Bettina. Enjoy...!

Tree of Love

Hey Fluffers :)

You probably know I've got a thing about pleats. I find them difficult. Which is a bit odd, because, give me a tree, and I'll happily colour it. When you think about it, the texture on a tree trunk, is not that different to adding pleats to clothing. So, really, I shouldn't have any trouble with pleats...

Anyhoo, seeing as this is a tree, and not a dress, I was keen to get started on this gnarly, old boy. Not a pleat to be seen! Phew. I found Woodland Lucy the other week, when I was looking for a die, and she's been sitting on my desk, shouting at me ever since. Well, it'd be rude not to!

They call it mellow yellow...

Hey Fluffers :)

Go on, tell me you're not singing that now!

I'll be keeping this short and sweet, as I'm doing battle with the early signs of a migraine... Squeezing out a quick post, not being one of the better tactics to divert said migraine, so, quick, it is.

Anyhoo, the other day, I lost a die. Well, I didn't lose it the other day, I only noticed it was missing the other day. I found it eventually, in the place it should have been, (and then I didn't use it!) but, whilst searching high and low, (and muttering some not so Fluffie Stuff) I came across this stamp and got the urge to colour her up again. I also wanted to push out of my Comfort Colour Zone, so chose some of my favourite paper from Echo Park to help. I often gaze lovingly at this paper, even though the pattern is fairly busy and loud for my taste. But slap it on a nice yellow Clean and Simple card, I think I can just about pull it off...

I would like to enter this card in the following Challenges...
Allsorts - Buttons and Bows
Brown Sugar - Anything Goes
Sweet Pea Stampers - Flower Power

Pink Jobs... Blue Jobs

Morning :)

As you know, in our house, there are clearly defined Pink Jobs and Blue Jobs. It's a strict code, and there is a Zero Tolerance Cross Over Scheme in place. There are other Zero Tolerance Zones, namely running out of jellybeans, but I digress.

Yesterday morning Sweet Cheeks went through his normal morning routine, which involves him coming in to say hello, before going to get dressed. I quite enjoy this time of the day as I can do it without getting out of bed, or waking up properly.

A few minutes after our cuddle, breaking with normal procedure, Sweet Cheeks came back in and said ' I think there's a problem.' I half opened an eye, to see a rather large grin on The Cheeks face, so I knew it wasn't too bad, and as no one had noticed, I closed my eye again and decided this would fall under The Blue Camp.

As I was still 'sleeping', I said nothing and Very Understanding Hubby asked what the problem was. 'It's the toilet.' I was still sleeping of course. But a snort of amusement escaped, which I cunningly disguised as a snore, not that I actually snore, you understand. 'What exactly is the problem?' Very Understanding Hubby asked nervously. I wasn't too worried at this point as toilets have two distinct categories... Cleaning and Maintenance and I was confident that cleaning didn't come into it. 'Toilet Paper is the problem.' I snored again. 'Why is toilet paper a problem? Toilet paper can go down the toilet.' I snored again, just to make sure everyone understood I was still in the land of nod. 'I dropped all of it in the toilet', said The Cheeks. Insert rapid snoring here! Yep, that's maintenance. Happy fishing!!

Over at The Sweet Stop, it's time for a Sketch with a Winter Wonderland Twist. And over at My Mum's Craft Shop, it's all systems go with the Big Sale.

Have a great day...
