Back to basics

Hey Peeps :)

I recently read Zoe's Colouring Tutorial Colouring Techniques with Markers and I really wanted to take my colouring a step back, to think about what I was actually doing with my Markers. So, although this isn't the most complicated project on the planet, I spent some time practising some of the basics you can get to taking for granted. I'm a firm believer in watching how different people do the same thing, and adapting it to what works for you. That said, when I was thinking more about how I was using my Markers, I noticed a few habits I've slipped into. Break the habits, and I may just see that elusive improvement...

  6. Oh that is one gorgeous image and such a classy card.

I've got that e-book and the shading one too - they are great aren't they! I read them but then for me it's just a case of trying not to be colouring in at the last minute so I've got time to go slow instead of rushing like a manic and then saying - damn it'll have to do!!!

Your colouring is, and always has been, something to aspire to.

  7. Hi Fluffy.
I am just like Sarah above, I am always out of time when it comes to colouring, so end up having less time to colour, I might have to invest in the tutorial e book as your colouring is Stunning.
