Super Dude!

 Hey Peeps :)

It occurred to me the other day, it's been a while since I 'fessed up to any mischief. Rest assured, it doesn't mean I haven't got up to any. More, I've been busy, getting into it!

I think it's safe to say we are in the grips of winter now. Not deepest, darkest winter, but enough to have the heating on. Our heating clunks on in the morning and in the evening, and anytime in between, if it drops below a certain temperature. Happy Days. Naturally, my idea of acceptable, is completely different to Very Understanding Hubby's idea of acceptable... I like The Maldives, he prefers Austria. In winter. I'm sure Austria is very beautiful. But, let me think... Sub Zero, Tropical, Sub Zero, Tropical? Hmmm... Well, I suppose there's Hot Choklit. But. I digress.

Our heating also has a fancy little Remote Control with a built in Thermostat/ Temperature Checker Thingy. In theory, I could be lying in bed (in winter PJ's, under two duvets, three blankets and a cat.) and if I decided I was cold... I could just reach out and wham the heating up/ on. Did I mention Happy Days? Happy Days? Not! The Heating Remote is ranked up there, along with the TV Remote, and as such, has Full Blue Job Classification. I am not to touch. Bad Fluffie!

The Heating Remote has it's own little home. A special spot it lives in, so it never gets lost. It's just, the Heating Remote, lives above a radiator. That would be the Heating Remote Control With The Built In Thermostat/ Temperature Checker. Doh! I'm missing a trick here! Correction. The Heating Remote 'did' live above the radiator. Now, it lives on the other side of the room. The cooler side. You know, the side of the room, that means the heating stays on for longer. But, if anyone, AKA, Very Understanding Hubby, asks, it's because it 'looks' better, in it's new home. You know, for the general good looks and tidiness of the room... ;)

Anyway, it's time for some Inspiration from Little Miss Muffet Stamps. This week, the Little Misses are having a creative free-for-all, you really should pop over and check out all the gorgeousness on display... it's well worth a looksie.

Morning Faye - fabulous card, love the little chap and the way he's bursting out the card! I bet this one was well received!!

Know what you mean about the heating 'mote (we've got something similar) and I'm stuck in a house with two people who don't feel the cold. Not good!!!

Hope all's well with you - almost Christmas panic time here!

I love reading your blog posts as much as I love looking at your cards. Both always puts me in a great mood!
And I do find your work very inspiring too. Being an aunt to 4 nephews and no nieces I always love seeing male/boys cards. This design is great for a young boy!

GORGEOUS colouring, gorgeous card! BHB to SC again!
And your story goes to show why some job colours have CLEARLY been misclassified and why I recommend a more light purple colour coding. Firstly said controller should obviously NEVER have been placed near a radiator and obviously looks much better elsewhere in the room and secondly, I assume that VUH is outside of the home for much longer in the day than you are and therefore, at least when you are there without him, you should have control. No?
Yes, yes, yes. Hugs, Lesley
