Gone Fishing

Morning Peeps :)

  Time for a new Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet... Barbara has made this rather cool sketch for us, and I think this one's a keeper! A bit like the super cute new Bugaboo Range Little Miss Muffet is carrying. 

I've been playing with my Graph It Markers again, with the exception of the lighter sky colour, just because I didn't have the right GI colour for this. I've been quite enjoying playing around with the colours I do have, it's interesting trying to build depth to the image with limited colours and getting used to using a different kind of nib has been fun too.

  Oh, you would have giggled at me last week. If you follow me on Facebook, you'll know about this already... 

I was pottering around the other morning, doing a few jobs, before heading into The Flufferie, and decided to boil some eggs for sandwiches. Hmmm, but standing and waiting for ten minutes for the eggs to boil was a bit boring, so I thought I'd just pop into The Flufferie for a few minutes and then come back and sort out the eggs. Needless to say, I completely forgot about the eggs and happily went about my business in The Flufferie. Although I was perplexed a few times as to why I could smell ironing. I'm not a fan of ironing. If the crinkles don't shake out, well, they're rarely ironed out, so the smell of ironing in Casa Fluffie is rare. 

An hour or so later, I realised why I could smell ironing and rushed downstairs, to discover the pan boiled dry, trying to weld itself to the hob and the eggs burnt. Who knew you could burn a boiled egg? And an egg shell at that!!
