Did someone say cake?


Hello, hello :)


If a picture speaks a thousand words, then I hope this one says Happy Birthday. Which is this week's Sketch with a Spin at The Sweet Stop. I really wanted to add a Happy Birthday sentiment, and in fact, there was one on there, but I pulled it off because it just wasn't working!

And then there's the Sketch... Oooopsie!

Sweet Cheeks was poorly (he's so much better now, thanks all.) when I was making this, so I was completely distracted, and built the sketch from memory. Big. Mistake! In my head, the sketch looked like my card. But, you can see for yourself what it should look like. Ahem! I've decided if my card was a square, it would look like the sketch, I've just taken a slice off each side. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Otherwise, I'm pretty chuffed with the colours, which are not my normal bag. It looks fab on my desk in The Flufferie.

    WOW! This is just FAB - I could look at this all day. Such a happy card and your colouring is, to quote some of my senior pupils, "totes amazeballs". And fyi, I can definitely see the sketch - it looks perfect to me. Hugs xx

    I love the papers you've used and you've done a great job coloring the image! I like the notebook look of the paper with the image, and the twine works really well too.
