Boy Crazy

 Morning Peeps :)

Alrighty then! It's time for a new Challenge over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps, and this time it's Boys Only. I have a lot of boy stuff going on at the moment, as you'll see tomorrow, but, enough of that! Pop over to Little Miss Muffet, we have new faces and there are FAB cards to look at...

I missed Wynj Wednesday again this week. That's because I was living and breathing a Real Life Wynj! I need to be careful though, as there is clearly a Spy amongst you, planted by my Doctor. So, come on, who are you? Don't be shy!

You will of course, recall my recent experience of trying to get Very Understanding Hubby an appointment at the Doctor's, and my offer of feedback to Reception on my feelings about having a heart attack being easier than getting an appointment. This time, it was my turn. On a positive note, it wasn't the weekend. If it had been the weekend, I would currently be spending time at Her Majesty's Pleasure.

But, anyway. I needed an appointment. Now, you know the drill... it goes a little something like this... Ring. Ring. Ring. Pass out because someone answered the phone and accidentally hang up. Ring. Ring. Ring. Argue about appointment. Accept only appointment left that day, even though it's at the only inconvenient part of your day. Get text message confirming annoyingly inconvenient appointment. Drink Vodka. 8.30am.

But there's more! It's goes a little something like this...Turn up for appointment at the most inconvenient time of the day, by driving like you do when you're on the way to the petrol station and you want to get there before the fumes run out. Wait for an hour to see Doctor, who tells you absolutely nothing other than what you found out by yourself on the Internet.

And here's where Double O Fluffie comes in. On the way out, I noticed a sign on the wall. It told me how many patients the Practice has, how many (inconvenient) appointments they had the year before and the fact that's above the National Average! If there wasn't a Spy, that sign wouldn't be there!! ;)

So, I'm changing Doctors. (Totally because of the Spy and nothing to do with anything else!) I phoned the new Doctors up this morning and nearly spat my tea out when the phone was answered within three rings, on my first call. I like them already...

Fabulous card Faye. I LOVE that image (no surprise as I love all LMM images!!) Your colouring is wonderful and the papers are gorgeous.
I think it was a wise move to change your doctors, I am thinking of doing the same thing.

Love your card, Faye. Bright and cheerful and he is a cutie. In our GP waiting room there is a sign telling us each month how many people did not bother to turn up and cancel their appointments.I can't remember exact number but it was like 5 people a day! ... why on earth some people make appointments and never to bother turn up or even cancel it is beyond me.

You and boy cards are like strawberries and cream... perfick match! I LOVE this Fluuf, esp the colours! WOW sounds like you're onto a winner with the new doc! If it's any consolation... the second thing my 'doctor' (I'll call him that for argument's sake) says after "Bonjour madame" is "how are you paying?" (yep we pay in France)... then he swifty gets up to open the door to show you out (whether you've finished talking to him or not)... Mmm maybe I should take a leaf out of your book ;)

A spy? Hmmmm...well it sounds like you know how to get around that.
Darling card - I love that image. Very popular for this challenge and I can see why. It is perfect for the boys of course, but it is also perfect for one of my 5 year old sons. He wanted a frog from our yard as a pet. I felt bad that a frog living a free life should be caged so instead we now have 2 frogs from the pet store and of course we spent a bit more money!

When I was a kid if ever I saw a policeman I felt guilty even though I'd done nothing wrong. Same in school if the teacher said someone took something off her desk but 'if they put it back we'll say no more about it and it'll all be forgotten,' I always wanted to own up even though it wasn't me! I feel guilty now but Faye, I swear, I'm not the spy, honest, cross my heart and hope to die. You do believe me don't you?! I don't know why but people say I'm paranoid! :o)

Just LOVE your card, it's perfect! Amazing colouring as always.
