Morning Cupcake Lovers :)
Monday morning of course, means time for a Cupcake and this week, I chose Black, White, Plus One as our Challenge. The Cupcakes have made fabulous projects to inspire you, and we have prizes from Crafts U Love and Pink Gem Designs. Pop over for all the details.
I'm hoping to get this one up without Mrs A noticing. She's gonna be after me for putting a little girl in a black dress! I've put some spots on it to disguise it. Ssssh, she might get distracted by the pink. Sssssssh!
I really wanted to use Mimi, she's so adorable and so far un-coloured. I had planned to go with red as my feature colour. But when I realised I had to give her a black dress, (white wasn't working for me, I think I've been colouring too many snowmen recently, and I couldn't give her a string of black hearts could I?) I quickly swapped to pink, Mrs A's fav colour. I'm telling you, Mrs A gets you when you're not expecting it. Quick, she's coming... SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Perhaps black isn't the best colour dress for a little girl, Fluff, I'm inclined to agree with the Mumster about that generally but on this occasion, it's just perfect! Fab colouring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I just love your pretty roses which match her shoes and positively pulls on the heart string! Hugs, Lesley

ReplyDeleteHi ya, oh my this one is just gorgeous! I actually don't think a black dress for a little girl is too bad - you've made it spotty that helps! And if you were to see what SWMbO puts on, I think you'd flip!
ReplyDeleteShe went very 80's the other day with a dress that has got wide bands of almost neon colours across it, teamed it with a pair of black leggings and neon socks - hmmm now that's individual style for you!
