Morning Custard Lovers :)
Go on, sing it!!
You may remember, my Dear Sweet Brother recently got married to my Not So Nearly But Actual Sister-in-Law. Some of you asked to see photo's, so, in true Fluffie fashion, I thought I'd share something that caused a bit of a stir on the day, other than the gorgeous bride, and the fact the wind kept blowing up the skirts of anyone, well, wearing a skirt! Think Marilyn Monroe, you get the gist.

Anyway, these, Fluffers, were my shoes. Yes, I know, fab colour, (I wore a black and white spotty dress... had to be spots really, didn't it?!) but that's not the point. Look at them. Look at them! They're like The Empire State Building or something. I was about seven foot taller than I normally am, let me put it into context for you...
Have you ever tried walking on Ciaos? By the end of the day, I did kick them off. (Pimms + Higher Than Ciao Shoes = Asking For Trouble.) But not, as people suspected, because they were hurting. Nope....
I'm not used to scurrying around in skyscrapers and a simple trip to the loo required hand rails and a forty minute time allowance! That really cuts into your Pimms O'Clock People!
Have a great Wednesday. Hmm, it is Wednesday today, right?

Whoo whoo!! Love 'em Faye, but where's the piccies of you in the complete outfit sweetie? Please post one.
I so wish I could walk in these shoes, but I'm far too old now. Mind you, I did manage to always wear really high platforms in the 70's, ha ha!
Chrissie xx
I love love them Faye ! The colour is right up my street but Unfortunately a little high for me. Need a few inches taking of and then I wouldn't fall over. well done to you for managing them

Fabulous shoes darlin' - but where's the pic of you in all your finery???? Jo x
Oh dear I'm going to sound like my mother now - how on earth did you walk in them without breaking your ankles! I mean, no problems with the heels (am partial to a bit of height myself!) but those soles - oh my word!!!
Sarah
PS - I wonder if Boo fancies being a step-father, we're starting to think Miss Miss T has had a wild night or two. She is starting to look rather stout and the question of gender might be no longer a question.

Very sexy! You sure there aren't any more sweet cheeks in the making? I only wear wedges for high heels, couldn't walk in those if I tried.
Great shoes Faye, they look about as high as mine were for my latest wedding, I will have to do the Ciao test to find out, LOL! My feet were killing me by the end of the day though!
Helen x
LOL, they're fantastic and dare I say I had a pair not dissimilar in the 70s, loved 'em then too! Pimms O'clock is definitely more important that keeping your skyscraper shoes on I'd say. xx
I wish I was young again! The boots and sandals are more my style and ability! I shall console myself by realising that I can still drink the Pimms. Hugs, Lesley
Well they look fabulous hun! :)
I had to chuckle at the dash for the loo holding onto rails though. I have never bothered with heels, I dont like feeling like I am gonna fall forward! lol :)
Sounds like it was lots of fun tho!
hugs

Love it Fluff... LOVE IT! And those shoes... me Eiffel Tower springs to mind! Shelly x
OMG! I WANT these shoes! Height is no problem, but I have always gone shy with that platformy front bit, sure it would cause me trouble as the soles of my feet aren't as near the floor as I would think they would be, so sure to trip you up? keeleyxx
