Project Gut; Week Six Status Report

Is it only Week Six? Feels like we've been at this forever!

Sorry for my lack of posts this week, I've had a serious time deficit. And I've been working on projects I can't show you yet! I know, I'm such a tease.

Yesterday, Sweet Cheeks and I took some time out from the new house and went for a walk in the woods. Sweet Cheeks is currently in the 'Why?' phase. So anything I say about anything, is answered with... yep, you guessed it... 'Why?'.

As you can see, (or can you?!) we came across some frogs. Or are they toads? Above my pay grade that one. Anyhoo, we actually came across a whole lot more frog/ toads than this, in a rather large, muddy pond/ swamp thing and the purr of croaking, was audible.

Sweet Cheeks wanted to know what the frog/ toads were doing. Well, the bottom froggy/ toad is giving the top froggy toad a piggy back. Why? Because the froggy/ toad is tired. Why? (Naff, do we really have to have the nature talk already?!) Because the froggy/ toads have been busy making baby froggy/ toads. Oh. (Thank goodness conversation ended there...!)

I suppose at times it will feel like that with the house asnd then others will go quicker. I remember the "Why" phase so well. I have to admit the frog thing is the one thing that terrifies me most -I'm petrified of them!!
I'm of to Temple Newson in Leeds today- it is supposed to be the norths answer to Hampton Court Palace

Ha! I remember those conversations! Mind you, the "why" phase never really goes away, it just morphs into it's teenage version. This is accompanied by exaggerated groaning and is usually in response to a question such as "Can you tidy your room, please?" Have a fabby week and don't work too hard! xx

Your house is really coming along! Too funny with the frog thing! It is nice at this age simple answers seem to work and they move on to the next question. It is when the simple answers are not working anymore that you get to squirm! LOL!
