Top Tip!


Morning Custard Lovers!

I have one of my faberoony Top Tips for you today Peeps, brace yourselves, it's a good one!

When you're following a Sketch, and you're a Fluffhead, don't do it from memory, you'll miss something off...

Let me tell you about this image. I've been itching to ink Marci for ages and I wanted to try out something new. I stamped her fourteen, yes fourteen, times, before finally deciding she was not the right image for the technique I wanted to try. Fifteenth time lucky! And. Two of my flesh Copics have given up and gone to Copic Heaven, not good when you are almost throwing the rattle out of the pram...! ;)

I'm adding this card to the La-La Land Craft Gallery.

    Faye, I just love your card. The papers are gorgeous and the image is soooo cute and you've coloured her perfectly. Dunno what your on about either you wished you lived closer LOL ... your not that far away from me, just a quick sprint down the A38 ... i'm only in Burton!!! So you can come for dinner anytime PMSL!     I love this card, it's wonderful, especially love that the image suits the sketch perfectly.

    Already learned that lesson Faye, I always print out my sketch to refer to but since I usually like them I keep them for further reference. Tip, don't save them all or there is no more room on your craft table! Great card, I have some of those la la land images, may need to pull one out too but not gonna try the light ink look yet. Love yours though, you are braver than I friend...
