R - Awesome


Morning Peeps.

On Sunday morning Very Understanding Hubby and Sweet Cheeks disappeared to the park for the morning. So after the washing, dust and washing up also disappeared, (along with a rather juicy jam tart!) I took myself into the Bat Cave to recharge my FairyDust. I was feeling a little flat and deflated after PinkChristmasGate so I'm really pleased with how this card has turned out. I think it might be what I was trying to do with PCGC.

Anyways, this little guy is Monster Boy and is my all time favourite image from Squiggles and Giggles. I've seen a couple of cards around recently, where the image is pretty much the height of the card. While I've not gone that big, he is much bigger than I would normally work too (about 10cm high) and I really enjoyed the challenge of colouring a bigger area.


Don't tell Sweet Cheeks, but I pinched some of the googly eyes from his sticker collection, (he thinks it's hilarious to stick googly eyes on the remote control, or remoter conktroller as he calls it.) as a little finishing touch. He was out rolling in sand, so I didn't think he'd mind.

    Your colouring of that little monster is brilliant Faye...if you need some more googly eyes, just call...I have them in red, white, yellow and blue and some of them have even lashes!

    How gorgeous is this sweet image with the wiggly eyes - that's so fab Fluff! Your coloring is awesome, you know - lovely blending there. Wonderful papers. I love looking at your cards as they look to be right out of the Hallmark store. Beautiful!

    I had a good break, but missed the crafting,snuck a couple of mags in the bag and caught a few rays the first week and mentally spent more than a few pounds. Second week found some crafting shops and the rest is history. Ate too much ice cream, played footy with the kids and made sandcastles, oh and spent a long hot journey (3times) in the car. thanks for asking (but bet you wish you hadn't now (smiles))Heidi x
