Is it too early to have 'The Chat' yet?

Morning Custard Lovers! Can you believe it's Wednesday already? Where's the week going?

Sweet Cheeks is very interested in his tummy right now. He loves that he puts something in his mouth, and it goes into his tummy, but he can't see it in his tummy! Anyway, we were chatting about this, bananananas and such when suddenly he pipes up, with the clarity I normally only get when he's been offered Choklit 'I want a baby, Mummy!'

We have a new challenge over at MMCS today. We'd like to see Anything But Square, a theme which struck fear deep into my heart. I've not made an easel card for a while, so as I love 'em I thought I'd do a nice little circle number. I had plans for ribbon ruffles, which look fab when everyone else does them, (Wendy) but looked completely naff when I tried. And that's about all I'm saying about this card. Oh, I like the bow, so I've given it a picture of it's own...

If you'd like to win your choice of any paper pad and a surprise goody bag from My Mum's Craft Shop, you'll need to play along. But before you do that, head over to MMCS and see the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT.

Recipe
Cardstock: Stampin Up!
Papers: Pink Petticoat
Image: Garden Bouquet, Hero Arts
Tools: Butterfly Punch, Martha Stewart, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, Nesties, Paper Duffer Uppper!
Other: Ribbon from stash

When my kids asked 'those' questions I use to revel in watching my OH squirm as he tried to answer!! Funny how the washing-up & cleaning the windows is suddenly a high priority chore to do!! Get SC to ring me if you want me to explain things!! I have card-envy today as you've done a bow...shoot! I just can't do them!! xxx

Hi Faye,
I love your card,it's beautiful, your so hard on yourself your cards are all gorgeous..I pointed Katy in the direction of Hubby when aged 3 and a after being at pre-school for a couple of days asked why do little boys stand to have a wee,his answer "because little boys are not as lazy as little girls and don't need to sit down"....I call that thinking on his feet...lol...

Morning Fluffie :)
Awww bless SC! He's a boy so these things are best explained to boys by their Daddy! lol ;)
I'm loving this gorgeous card, i've never attempted a circle easel, but think I just might give it a go after seeing this beauty.
Your bow is perfect and you're right to give it it's own photo.

I really like this, Faye and the bow is just gorgeous. The distressed edges look really good on the circular card and I like the mono image very much. Smiling about SC's fascination with his tummy - when I was having Gregor my friends daughter kept asking me "is that a baby in your tummy?" and then "Can I see it?". xx

What a pretty easel, Fluff!
How is Sweet Cheeks by the way? Fully recovered? I hope so!
Maybe it's a bit early for that chat with SC but you could always have a chat with DWJ!!! Perhaps Sweet Cheeks needs a little brother or sister rather than a baby of his own! Big Hugs, Lesley
