Flowers for Mum

Morning Peeps! Sorry I was a little quiet last week on the blogging and commenting front. Very Understanding Hubby was at home on annual leave and it played absolute havoc with my routine. I mean, I had to talk to a real, live, adult person. For real. Face to face. Eeeurgh. :) We had a lovely time exploring a bit of Derby and managed a last minute, flying visit to Devon. I met up with Carrie and Crafty Emma at The NEC. There may have been mischief, but you know, what happens at The NEC, stays at The NEC! It was a week for meeting people last week. I went to play at Jelly's house on Saturday and had a totally fab morning. We had chip cobs for lunch. A chip cob is up Norf speak for a chip butty! I'm getting well in with the lingo up 'ere. Duck. Anyway, onto business. I cannot believe it's been two weeks since I last did a double whammy post, but here we are again. Over at Cupcake, Our Denise has chosen Flowers for Mum. Projects must be for Mothers Day and include some flowers. We are lucky enough to be sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and Wild Rose Studio, who are our Icing on the Cupcake sponsor for March. Vicky has designed a gorgeous sketch for us over at Sketch n Stash:

You can flip the sketch if you want to, so long as we can recognise the basic elements, it's cool. Don't forget to tell us about your new or old stash. This Challenge, we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs. The papers I've used are sooooooooooo old! I've had them for at least a year and I inherited them from someone else! The Kraft cardstock is new. This card got me into trouble. I didn't make it until the early hours of Sunday morning, which is cutting it a bit fine for me. And there lies my trouble. I went to bed at 3.30am and that doesn't account for the clocks going forward...! Well, you've seen my card, pop over to Cupcake and Sketch n Stash to see what my wonderful teamies have created! Have a great week.

Great card Faye! Love the flower! The sketch is great too! My hubby has been home for a few weeks due to an injury at work so my routine is bit of a mess too. Sounds like you have got to spend some time together though. That is always fun. Glad your back though!
