And breathe!

My Internet broke yesterday around lunchtime. I can do all the switch off, switch on, check all the lights are on, hit it type things. I can even go in to the pooter's under-crackers and check some of the settings, but it's quite a basic check.

By the time Very Understanding Hubby got home seven hours later, I had developed a nervous twitch and eaten all the choklit in the house. It took all my will power not to launch on him the instant he walked through the door and I managed to wait until we had put Sweet Cheeks to bed, before telling him the pooter was broken.

A little while later, Very Understanding Hubby came to tell me there was something wrong with the server. He may as well have been speaking fluent Chinese. If I switch something on and it doesn't do what I want/ it is supposed to do, it is therefore broken. So, in an attempt to get the hives to go down, I took myself off to the Snug to make the Christening card I needed last weekend! ;)

After a few hours and a liberal dose of Happy Spray, my heart rate had returned to normal and I took myself off to bed, composing the letter I'm going to write to the tooth fairy about knackered Internet's in my head as I drifted to sleep.

I've used this weeks fabby sketch from Sketch Saturday, so I'm going to enter this card, hopefully, the Internet will hold out long enough!

Right, I'm off to the garage to see if anyone has fitted that bathroom...

Very Funny Fluffy. I know what you mean about the turning on and off again, 9 times out of 10 that works!! I can even get mine to work when I shout obscene words at it!!
This card is super, love the little LOTV image, I have just used one of their wedding images, unfortunatly I have to wait for some of the new stamps.
By the way just incase you do not know....A bathroom needs fitting by a man/lady called a PLUMMER!! BUT I think they are as rare as hens teeth. (Do hen's not have teeth then?)

Hi Faye, On my wedding card I did not emboss the blue paper myself. A while ago I bought a pad of papers called "Core Impressions" by core'dinations and there are loads of pre-embossed sheets, I love using the cuttlebug, but when I found these I thought they were great. THey are 12x12, so usually use them as a background for my scrapbook layouts. Debbiexx

Don't talk to me about 'pooters! Mine is acting up too, so I am not a happy bunny either!
Anyhow, your card is fabulous, beautiful soft colours and patterns. And I love the idea of the ticket with the DOB.

I was cursing my mac when I lost connection mid post. But as it turns out the telphone exchange line was down so no one in the area had internet :-(

hiya Faye,I thoroughly sympathise with you, why is a 7 year old can be techno minded but we can't, my son does most of my techno stuff .....very frustrating though, the card looks lush so subtle

Hope you've got the pooter up and running again! This is such a sweet card - it's one of my favourite lotv images, too! At school my kids are getting ready to write their final folio essay in French and they have to choose a topic. I asked one girl "what are you going to write your essay on?" "Paper", she said. xxx
