Time for some Fabby Friday Lovin'...
There's a reason I don't add sentiments to cards. Well, actually there are a couple. One. I can't ever decide where to put them. Two. I should not be trusted with dangerous equipment. I.E. A Sentiment Stamp and an Ink Pad.
You can be sure after spending time making an image look pretty, I will ruin things last minute by faffing it up with a sentiment. 'Lucky' for me, I am still in denial about Winter Light being here, and the fact I really need to get the extra lights out for the Light Box. Otherwise, you'd see my dodgy sentiment stamping in all it's glory. Actually, the stamping wasn't too bad. But what happened when I rubbed out my pencil marks to line up the stamp with... Oi, Oi, Oi! So, ignore the sentiment, if you please. And enjoy how much fun Wryn is having in her pile of leaves. Thank you for your co-operation!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! Awesome, awesome colouring! I agree with you about the sentiment stamps (well, any stamps really). That's why I use my computer for them and I'm pretty much an exclusive digi user. If a messup happens I can just blame it on the computer not me!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is spectacular! What an awesome coloring job on this image. So admire your talent. To my eye the sentiment looks great, but I completely understand what you mean about attempting to add stamping after you've colored an image.

I feel your pain... been there with adding a sentiment and messing it up. But here's the thing: your colouring is so stunning that no one is going to notice a teeny wobble on the old sentiment. In fact, had you not pointed it out, I wouldn't have been any the wiser. Another beauty. xx
ReplyDeleteSo loving this one hon.... I remember playing like that when I was a kid... big piles of leaves then kicking them around... then getting told off by whoever had brushed them all up!! hehe! Your leaf colours are perfect!

Beautifully coloured Wryn playing in her beautifully coloured leaves with her beautifully coloured pooch are defo taking pride of place on your beautiful card and I didn't notice the ever so faintly smudged "r" until you pointed it out!!! Hugs, Lesley
