The Great Escape

Alrighty then :)

Poor Very Understanding Hubby is a bit grumpy. You may recall, he's not been sleeping so well, (despite having the ability to slip into a coma within seconds of Head Pillow Contact.) because I keep waking him up. Last night, would be the third time in two weeks. Ouch!

Boo, the cat, has taken to bringing gifts in during the night. He always wakes me up, as he's generally very pleased with himself for providing me with a little snack, and I don't like to tell him off, for only doing what nature dictates to him. 

Last night, his Mummy, I Got You A Present Greeting was a little muffled, and on closer inspection, I discovered the mouse was still alive. So, with this falling into a Blue Job Category, I set to waking Very Understanding Hubby, with the usual difficulties. Naturally, Very Understanding Hubby, was Not So Understanding and I got the Standardised Response; What do you want me to do about it, it'll be dead in the morning? I know that, says me, but I don't want a mess on the carpet!

After a little prod from me, a slightly exasperated Not So Happy Very Understanding Hubby grabbed Boo. Boo, slightly shocked from being grabbed (So that Not So Happy Very Understanding Hubby could take them outside.) dropped the mouse. The mouse, shot under the sideboard, which, according to Boo, (who has been sitting on guard ever since) is where the mouse still resides. Not So Happy Very Understanding Hubby checked inside the sideboard this morning, (Blue Job Category, mainly because Not So Happy Very Understanding Hubby didn't want me poking around the crystal glasses with a big stick.) and there is no sign of said mouse. In fact, there's no sign of the mouse anywhere...

I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. Why? I finally, finally, got around to making a start on my Colouring Journal, and this is page one. I printed my image nice and big as I really wanted to get to grips with my colouring, without worrying about how much space I had. And I enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to doing more pages.
