Carrying on with my current Earworm Trend, try and not sing that for the rest of the day! (Sarah, I am working on your request.)
So, I got an Air Brush for Christmas. On Christmas Day, it came out of the Box. On Christmas Day, it went back into the box, where it has stayed, in varying locations around the house, intimidating me, ever since. But. No more. Me and the Air Brush are friends, having spent a happy afternoon spraying things blue. And when I say things, I mean things. As in, all things. The piece of card I wanted blue. The scrap paper under the piece of card I wanted blue. The computer, next to the scrap paper, under the card I wanted blue. My hand, over the piece of card I wanted blue. You get the gist.
Anyway, seeing as the Air Brush has been shouting chicken noises at me for the best part of a month, I thought I'd just mess around with it, do some smooshy, squirting. But then, my Inner Inky Self decided she wanted to come join the party, and before I knew it, I was flicking Copic Re-Inkers and Colourless Blender all over. Out came the Acrylic Paint and Frantage. There was literally, stuff, everywhere. But, it was soooo much fun. And this is what I finished up with. And maybe ablue, messy desk...

PS - Ah ha you got your thinking cap on! Am looking forward to the results. However, I'm a lover of cheesy music - and you never know what I'm listening to!!! I've got the Best of the Wombles cd, don't ya know! (seriously I have and I listen to it!!!)

Great tag Faye! The image is cute! Looks like fun to color! I made a card today it isn't posted yet but I tried my hand at doodling! I need a light box! So I can take a pic when there is no natural light!

ReplyDeleteOooh I think I'd have liked to be playing in your crafting area too.. love getting a bit inky!! And do you remember the song 'HR Puff'n'Stuff??'.... I think it maybe should be HR Fluff'n'Stuff according to your description! (That's batting the earworm RIGHT BACK AT YA HON!! lol)

That air brush will certainly not be making chicken noises at you any more - you showed it who's boss! The background is absolutely stunning and the perfect foil for your sweet lighthouse :-)

I love nautical themed projects and I love every little detail of this tag! Image: fantastic design and wonderful coloring. Background: a real Wow factor with the blue nuances and the sparkle from the frantage. Love the piece of cheesecloth too!
