You know how much I love my penguins, right? I was playing with these cuties from Some Odd Girl the other day, and this is what happened. Perhaps not the most mind blowing of creations, but I had fun. And before you get excited, they're going to live with Kitty at My Mum's Craft Shop. My Christmas card tally is still at zero, zilch, nuffin. How many days are left anyway? Loads, I expect...

Earlier this week, I needed to get a haircut. Due to the fact it's now winter, even though I'm still waiting for an Indian Summer, I was wearing gloves. Obviously, not in the hairdressers, that'd just be odd, but while I was scurrying around town, trying to find a yellow jumper for Sweet Cheeks to wear to school on Friday for Roald Dhal Day.  Whilst scurrying, I noticed the scratchy feeling I should be feeling around my wrist because of my treasured opal bracelet/ glove combo, was not in fact, feeling scratchy. Oh. Insert appropriate word here.

I was so upset, I could have cried on the spot. But, before I threw my rattle at the nearest passer by, I thought I'd best retrace my steps quick. By the time I got back to the hairdressers, which was the first place I'd been, I'd resigned myself to the fact it was gone and I was in mighty big trouble with Very Understanding Hubby, who'd bought it for me. You can imagine my relief when I saw it on the floor by the till. And I kid you not, when I say me collecting said treasure, was like a slow motion rugby dive styley tackle!
