Morning Fluffers :)

One day, back in spring (you know, that season where the sun comes out a little bit, but it still rains a lot?) Sweet Cheeks and I came across some frogs (maybe toads) doing what frogs (maybe toads) do best in the woods in spring. (Frogs (maybe toads) not bears, People!) Sweet Cheeks was a bit mystified about what they were up to. So, responsible mother that I am, I broached the subject of 'nature' and explained that the frog (maybe toad) on top was tired and the frog (maybe toad) underneath, was being kind and giving him, or her, (who am I to judge?) a piggyback.

There. Job done. No need for that awkward conversation in ten years or so now, I've got it all covered. Sit back and enjoy Tricksy Push All of Mummy's Buttons Threes.

So, with this delicate subject. In. The. Bag. You'll be able to imagine my reaction, when, whilst manoeuvering several tonnes of motorised vehicle at (un-specified) high speed down the A52, Sweet Cheeks said to me...

'Mummy, have you got a baby in your tummy?'

Nursery have a lot to answer for...

And, erm, maybe I need to allow more of my daily calorie intake for my night time foraging expeditions. Hmm.

You have brought back lots of memories for my Fluffy....I have
had the Frogs (maybe Toads) conversation when we were at Centre Parks. The Frogs (maybe Toads) were all over the place, loads of them doing the "Piggy Back" thing!!
I remember saying they were tired and they were taking it in turns to give each other a lift. My two never questioned it, so like you "Job Done!
Not sure Mrs A and the Doc would be happy with our laxed parenting!!

Your card is so lovely, great flowers, background colour is stunning and the string is a lovely touch. Debbiex

Hi Faye, oooh this one is wonderful - very arty and 'cool' (Emilys' new favourite word).

Great story too - I also think nurseries have a lot to answer for. Emily told me when she was at nursery that I had a baby in my tummy, 'because all mummies have babies in their tummies all the time'. Hmmm, nope!!

Also she told me, much more recently, that I have very big hips. Have I, I replied, I didn't think they were that big. Yes they are quoth the child - they wobble a lot as well. Then pointed at a point of my anatomy much higher than my hips, but lower than my head. I left the room at that point.

Sarah

PS - I love Boo Too. Want a Boo Three????

How generous of frog (or toad) to give frog (or toad) a ride. Brilliant answer I thought! Pretty card too, very different for you but I like it and no, I didn't say anything to anyone about your tummy, I believe you were quite clear on your point of view.
