It's Scrimbo!

Morning Fluffers!

The weekend of course, starts with a fabby new Sketch from Jo at Sketch Saturday and this week, we are joined by our regular sponsor, Simon Says Stamp. I hope you have a little time to pop over for all the details and see what my talented teamies have created...

Now. Try not to get too excited. This is not what it looks like. An untrained eye could be forgiven for thinking this is a Christmas card. BUT. It's not! This is simply, a lovely fairy with a red and green colour scheme. (It's what I felt like making.) Christmas is still, what? Fifteen? Sleeps away? No need to make a start on the old Christmas cards yet. It's only Christmas when I start to panic. There. Denial intact...

By the time you read this, I will be hooning up the M1. Sweet Cheeks is going to stay with his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins for the weekend. It's his very first sleepover, on his own. I've been absolutely fine about it until I just typed that and now I'm all tearful! Sweet Cheeks will be cool and have a brilliant time. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself though, Christmas is ages away...

  25. LMAO Faye!! I too am in denial of christmas being so close and have not finished 'anything' or made too many christmas cards. I wonder when we start to press the panic button?? Maybe you can start yours while sweet cheeks is away to keep you distracted?? Your card is gorgeous and your shading is perfect. Love it.

    Hugs, Kylie xo

  26. Hi Faye, well I'm sitting here all smug as, apart from 3 cards, all my Christmas ones are done! I have had a massive Christmas card marathon week and that's it now for another year - thank goodness!

I'm sure Sweet Cheeks will love his weekend away - probably won't want to come home!! You're braver than me tho, I've not let Emily even have a day over a friends house without me yet - too much of a control freak! She'll hate me for it when she's older I know ;-0

  31. Lovely, lovely non-Christmas fairy on that interesting presumably floral (rather than snow flake) background paper. Gorgeous colour work again and lovely tactile bits? Scrim? or Cheesecloth? Hope SC had the best of times with his cousins and hope you had a lovely restful pampered weekend! Hugs, Lesley
