Morning Muffins. Yep, it's another Top Quality Tip from The House of Fluff!
Very Understanding Hubby and I took Sweet Cheeks to the park the other day for some family time in the last of the sunshine. Sweet Cheeks was very happy as he was wearing jersey shorts, as opposed to jeans, which meant he got some speed up on the slide. We'd been out for a while, when Sweet Cheeks announced he needed the toilet. Very Understanding Hubby duly took him behind a tree for some Man Time. Several minutes later, Sweet Cheeks appeared, looking pleased with himself. Mission Accomplished. A moment later, Very Understanding Hubby also appeared, moping his brow with what might be described as a pretty damp hanky. So Peeps, remember...don't pee in the wind! ;)

This little cutie is Daisy with Flowers from Squiggle Stamps. I fancied doing something clean and simple so she has space to be, erm, cute. And because I've coloured her in red, every time I look at it now, I think of Little Red Riding Hood!

Hi Faye, love the card - very cute image and a lovely clean lines on the whole card. Oh the joys of having a small child, eh! My small whirlwind, being a girl, doesn't have that problem and really does not like p'ing 'au natureal'! So we have a portable potty that you can collapse (I know it has a brand name but I can't remember it!), she has had a few misses with that - most notable on the front seat of the new car we'd just brought! Hubby was not happy!!! Sarah. P.S. Are you getting your Flexmarkers then?
ReplyDeleteI love your card and your storie !
ReplyDeleteYou would think hubby would know by now not to pee in the wind :) LOL

ReplyDeleteLove this - CAS but with plenty to look at. Gorgeous. Poor VUH - reminds me of when I was young and we went on the ferry to Ireland for a holiday. Howling gale. Mother and sister - ill. Brother and me - not too bad. Father - unsympathetic. Brother suddenly felt ill - Father had to take him on deck but teased him mercilessly. Brother eventually sick and leant forward as he did so. Father standing behind. Gust of wind. Father never allowed to forget this story. The end. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Faye, what a fab story hehe!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card too
HUGZ Fleur xXx
Lol Faye, your poor hubby! Dex is obsessed with 'watering the grass' as he calls it - he always seems to be suddenly bursting to go when we're in the middle of nowhere!

ReplyDeleteThank heavens you explained that title! I was a little worried about what you had been doing! Adorable card, I love the kraft paper and the little roses, so simple but yet so cute.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and I love your flowers fluff! Ah yes, the pee tips - hubby loves to tell those stories!!! Chester once had to pee into an empty Tim Horton's cup whilst being held with his pants down inside a telephone booth somewhere along the lonely TransCanada highway! You see, it was like -40 celsius in the middle of the night on the first of January. No real bathrooms for many miles and nothing open anyhow. There was a mean wind to boot! The phone booth was to try to prevent his little boy parts from freezing off because it was so darned cold! lol I'll have to ask him if he remembers. I think he was about three and his brother newborn since I distinctly remember the screaming infant wanting to be fed now as this all transpired!!! Ha - the memories the word "pee" bring to light!
ReplyDeleteHappy almost Friday!
Banana :)

ReplyDeleteFabulous card, I really like the stitching along the image it looks great and of course the image itself is perfectly coloured as usual. Sweet flowers too, I really like the hessian (they look hessian to me) leaves.
ReplyDeleteVery sound advice I'll keep it in mind seeing as it's so windy today!
