Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do...

Just felt like singing that after looking at my daisies. I made them with my (possibly new) Rolled Daisy Die. I was anticipating trouble after the first time I used the Rolled Rose Die had me in on the verge of tears. But these came together first time. I probably could have spaced the petals a bit better before slavering them with the glue gun, but hey-ho, flowers aren't naturally perfectly symetrical.

It's Sundae Sunday again. I thought I might not have made this post in time yesterday morning, as my card was still in pieces on my desk. I've not really felt like crafting much the past few nights. Toddler Taming has been full on this week and a bit draining, after all, I have to match every tantrum with one of my own! But Sweet Cheeks had a little snooze yesterday afternoon, so I managed to finish this and my Cupcake Card.

So, over at Paper Sundaes we have a brilliant new Challenge for you. Girly Girl. How much fun can you have with that? And if that's not enough of a reason to play along, you could win some stash from My Favourite Things. Pop over to Paper Sundaes for all the details and to see the wonderful creations from The Sundae Girls.

I'm going to enter this at:

4 Crafty Chicks - Handmade Flowers
Freshly Brewed - Lots of Yellow

  2. Hi Faye, Gorgeous card! Such a sweet image, pretty flowers (think I NEED this die) and I love the zesty colour combo :-)

Sorry to hear you are feeling drained with the Toddler Taming. I wish I could offer some wise words of advice and say it's easy but sadly it's not. I too found it hard work and what works for one child doesn't work for another as I found out. However, you do come out the other side (in my case looking somewhat worse for wear lol!) and in time life gets easier again. The problem is once you get over the Terrible 2's there are just other hurdles to jump over ... why don't kids come with a handbook ;-)

  28. I think I need to get me one of them thar flower dies - they are so pretty! Love the yellows you have chosen, too, really soft and girlie. Oh the terrible twos! I remember the Boy Wonder used to throw himself backwards - a kind of unsuccessful back flip - and I used to dread it. Then one day, at the end of my tether, I shut myself in the kitchen (in the company of an Aero, I seem to recall) and let him get on with it. Except he didn't, and I realised that without me watching him, there was no point in him chucking himself about the place. My friend's son covered their toilet seat in marker pen and everyone had a blue ring round their bum for weeks! Oh the joys! xx
